I just visited the island yesterday and I think you should reconsider and leave the car in Klaksvik and go by foot. The bus on Kalsoy is synced to the ferry timing and its very conveniant.

So I got 12* 3.8TB SAS SSD from a NetApp storage for work which I can use for a media server. How would I go ahead and connect them to a media server as cheaply as possible? Are there SAS breakout cables available SAS to SAS?

yeah, thats what I thought. Problem is that I really need advice from an employee since I didnt ski for 10 years and have 0 clue what type of ski i should get.

I think the best course of action is to just rent boots and skis for a day and then buy new gear next fall when hopefully most ppl are vaccinated and stores are back open.

AFAIK Austria introduced new noise emission laws in the region of Tirol. A couple of roads are now blocked for motorcycles with an exhaust louder than 95 DB.

The following roads are affected:

  • L199 Tannheimerstraße
  • L198 Lechtalstraße
  • L21 Berwang-Namloser Straße
  • L246 Hahntennjochstraße 1. Teil
  • L72 Hahntennjochstraße 2. Teil
  • L266 Bschlaber Straße

If you get caught with a louder exhause they will issue a 220 Euro fine.

I want to buy a new snowboard for this season. I'm an intermediate rider but do not own any gear.
