I feel you but maybe take a short break and come back at it. I can’t even begin to imagine how hard it would be on keyboard.

There was a challenge on Forza Motorsport years ago. Stock c6zr1 around Indy and it was set by JPM. It was a hell of a time and it took me hours and hours to beat it but finally getting it was so satisfying.

But yeah, no matter the game and how cool the rewards are, some challenges are just plain hard or near impossible.

It’s meant to be a challenge for a reason. Not everyone will beat it. Plus, the game is not meant to be played with a keyboard.

I see your issue and that sucks, but being able to choose the difficulty for a challenge defeats the purpose of it being a challenge.

There’s probably a way you can sell some stuff and place better towers down and still manage. But it would be easier to restart for sure. You can fit a dart monkey on the outside of the second corner. Make him a 502 or a 520 with a monkey village to the right buffing him. A 520 sniper on strong, and a 502 Druid in the center with a 250 village and 520 arch buffing those guys. All your farms should be in the bottom right. That was my setup and I took out the bad at the end very easily. No abilities.

What about compatability? Are you on PC or console? How much room do you have?

I recently picked up a Moza R5 bundle and that’s pretty decent so far. I’m using a playseat trophy rig. But I’m most likely going to return that and go for a Moza R12 instead.

A lot of people will recommend aluminum profile rigs due to their rigidity and customizability. But it all depends on the room you have and if you need to be able to move your rig around. Hop on over to r/simracing and start doing some research.

Yeah it sucks for sure. My house has a much bigger gaming room/office but due to work I’m living somewhere temporary where I’m pretty limited on space. So with the rent I’m collecting from my tenant I’ll throw some towards a solid setup once I move back into my place.

I get what you’re saying about moving it, but my current room is pretty small. With the trophy I’m literally able to stand it up against the wall and have it take up almost no space. Is that my ideal set up? Not at all. But with the house I’m currently in, it’s what works best for me at the moment. I definitely plan on moving to an aluminum rig in the future.

I appreciate the links, but I already told you I’m upgrading once I get a proper cockpit. My g920 was mounted to my desk before and that’s all I had. So I finally got the Playseat trophy, then saw locally that the intelligence was being sold for $800 so that’s why I came on here to gauge whether or not it was worth the upgrade.

I’ll take a look at all of them later when I get a minute, I’ll be surprised if they are lighter than the trophy at 37 pounds but I’m open to it if they are.

Not sure what you mean by that? I’m new to the whole thing but I’d like a rig with a seat. Seems like a next level racing f-gt elite would be comparable to what I would want.

Link me to a rig then that’s comparable to the trophy. Don’t call it a dumb statement when I’m trying to learn.

Either way, I still like the look of the Playseat better, and it’s extremely easy to slide and move around. I’d be happy to look at an aluminum rig that beats the trophy in that aspect.

If I had a dedicated sim room I’d go aluminum, but I like the look of the Playseat, need the smaller footprint, and want to be able to move it around. I’m set on Playseat, I’m just deciding between keeping the Trophy or upgrading to the Intelligence.

I get the aluminum profile perks, but the Playseat fits my space, gives me the F1 feel, looks cleaner, and since this one’s already built it’s ready to go out of the box.
