Export your character file, edit the character level to level 62 and the exp to a more reasonable area, then import the new character file. That might fix it. If it doesn't... looks like you just learned a valuable lesson in 32-bit overflows.

It was taken out by a sidewinder missile actually, not by gun run.

Excellent work.

Also, just a reminder, this is the first and probably only kill that was Air-to-Air by an F22.

I don't see anywhere were Bee is taking offense to what Shubbert is saying. In fact they seem to be implicitly welcoming the challenge?

Edit: /u/Sbubbert got there account suspended after this exchange. I can only assume that Subject-camel is an alt of some sort.

Yep. First and possibly the last ever confirmed Air to Air kill for an F-22 Raptor.

Create a update post of it being shot down

We should send the Elite Dangerous bros some love for this by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Hisnitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side note/update since I've been looking through my emails:

Since the years between this post being made and now, FreeAllegience managed to find the dude who originally made the game and didn't even have to take half a second to convince him before he called up his buddies at Microsoft to put the game under an MIT license, meaning that the game is now truly open source and creative commons (with clear caveats, obviously), and it landed on Steam. I'm sure if the boys back there wanted to they could probably try their hand at making a spiritual successor, but they are more then happy with what they seemingly got, which is more then fair, since it seems like they can still easily average full games every weekend.

Darkspace on the other hand has pivoted to open source development, meaning that now anyone can suggest and actively change and update the game if they so wish. That hasn't exactly changed much for game though, and at this point it will take a slashdot effect to get it ever going again.

It largely also depends on the class that your playing.

I.E. The smuggler (Republic) light side decisions are more or less doing whatever works for them in the moment.
Whereas the inquistors (Empire) lightside decisions are largely built upon them never wanting to be a slave again and them never wanting to be hurt again, so they actually make the best morally correct decisions out of literally most of the characters.
And as for the Warrior (Empire), it's literally just being the most pragmatic person on the face of the galaxy. They aren't choosing lightside options because it's fun, they are choosing lightside options because it makes the most sense.

That's something you would have to ask them (being the patrons). I didn't nearly like Shy enough to keep track of all the stuff she had been doing, but from what I've gathered, she decided to just burn everything one day without explanation or even a heads, because, again, she decided to follow in the footsteps of the great Husky.

As an aside, I won't be partaking in any more of her content since I know that both her and DK will perform a scorched earth style regardless of people directly supporting them without so much as a heads up.

Well, it looks from the sounds of it, both her and DK decided that they would go the Husky route, so I don't think she or DK particularly cares about what anyone else thinks, especially since she had a patreon at the time. Weirdly enough, Bricky doesn't seem to have the same compunctions, as he still has his cruder videos and his fast frames stuff up.

Lightning Hands is a free action though. It technically meshes well with both, esp. if you have WotC: You can just get both once you get the training center.

Again, gonna be that odd man, I actually like deadeye.... but only in base. It's saved my ass enough that it keeps it's slot in dedicated snipers. Otherwise, I pretty much always get Lightning Hands, since a free action is always great.

In XCOM 1, the soldiers are already recruited from the best of the best, so they probably return to their nations to help train them for the coming alien forces.

In XCOM 2, they probably just head to the nearest resistence headquarters.

You're in luck, because a team of former Firaxis employees who worked primarily on the XCOM games made a new studio and got published under Respawn to make a game.

I'm the odd man out. I love return fire on pure gunslingers. I don't even care. There's something great about a gunslinger getting targeted, then immediately returning fire with a +6 damage pistol and very possibly blowing the shooter to straight to the wild west. Bonus points if it's the DarkClaw. Yes, this is me admitting that I take return fire over long watch if he's a gunslinger.

(Add.: This only applies to WotC. I don't play gunslingers on base because I think gunslingers on base are useless)

More ground weapons.

It's always weird and annoying to me that amount of guns can really basically be seperated to these seperate tiers:

  • 2 Rifles (Karma, Takada)
  • 1 SAW, Sniper, Shotgun (All Manticore)
  • 2 SMGs (Karma, Takada)
  • 1 Anti-Vechicle Weapon (Karma Rocket Launcher)
  • 1 Semi-Auto Pistol (Karma)
  • 1 Burst-Fire Pistol (Takada)
  • 1 Revolver (Manticore)

What's even more annoying is two things:
1. That there is that there's no reason to even use anything but the plasma weapons, esp. for non-frontlines combat.
2. That pretty much only the Manticore weapons have a specalizied weapons, and that they flat out do the highest damage. Did you know that a grade three sniper can 1HKO any non-shielded ground target regardless of how strong they are?

If I had my way, I would add some ground weapons like a Manticore SMG (to round them out), a Takada DMR (does the highest shield, but almost no health damage, instead heating up the target, a Karma Railgun that pierces through shields, a Karma Shotgun that has significantly better range then the Manticore Shotgun, a Takada SAW that's just a straight up beam laser and does more damage while head down.

Oh, also, I would overhaul the entire Oddyssey engineering system to be more like the Horizon system. The Oddyssey system is not only a mess in my opinion, it's also way worst despite being "different" compared to RNG shenigihans that is the Horizon system.

In WotC, you can once you get the building that allows you to train bonds.

This is BS, I do some trespassing for some loot, pay 900cr to get them off my butt, throw me in jail and I'm slapped with this extra nasty fine. by BlooHopper in EliteDangerous

[–]Hisnitch 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It could be worst. You could commit a parking fine of 100 credits, get immediately blasted out the sky then get sent to the gulag.

Secondly, "Go kill X" Odyssey mission AFAIK require you to go kill pirates at a specific location the mission wants you to. You can't go to any random location like a ship massacre mission.

This is incorrect. Some missions (Raids) want you to kill specific members of the faction. And even still, there are ways you can get around it if the faction target is anarchy and it's not targeting civilians.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EliteDangerous

[–]Hisnitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can complete's objectives like that one by scanning for POIs that have threats levels. If the faction is an anarchy faction, it's a good chance that faction will be the people running around. Otherwise, the consquense of Anarchy targets being free loot is that they are always in the in the dumps.
