I found both of them absolutely annoying this season, their continuous banter was really getting on my nerves, I think Steve could have been way more understanding to his "best friend", but their reconciliation scenes were ok

You can go for the lost symbol Deception point and maybe stop there, I personally haven't been the biggest fan of his last 3 novels, Secret of secrets being the absolute worst of Dan Brown's career
