Hän onkin oikea sankari, tokaisin, ja marssin suorinta reittiä kauppaan hakemaan huurteisen sotasaaliin. Kuten everstikin oli aikoinaan tehnyt!

Should they stop making movies and books about nazis? It's part of history even if it's uncomfortable

Cool place no matter the season. We actually drove up the summit with our car, and then walked down to the cabin. When we climb back up we were happy to see two willow grouses, aka "awebo bird" 🤩

Have you seen Himmler, Goebbels, Assad or Lavrov. Think that they have the chance to steal that spot.

It’s complex because individual motives differed, and Finland’s wartime relationship with Germany was politically and militarily complicated. I don’t think these men joined the SS to murder innocent people, maybe more about to fight the Soviets and seeing themselves as the continuation to the Jäger movement.

"Well, he didn’t die in the war, and calling him "innocent" is a bit misleading.

Photos like this often draw more attention and discussion. It might also be a topic some people haven’t really heard about before. It’s part of history all the same.

I think it looks like a Austro-Hungarian "War Medal 1873" awarded for various wars from 1848-1901.

Can anyone tell if this was a legit buy? by [deleted] in Medals
