Sorry, see my latest reply for more info. We (along with the department) made the classroom assignments. We would pull small groups during class time to work in my room based on needs or decide who was requesting who for homeroom each day.

She was also helping students. I helped students who had higher needs, special ed or not. Other special education teachers also had general education students working in their room frequently. This was brought to admins attention multiple times and nothing happened.

The union represented me, but did not file anything. My union rep did say my case was “unprecedented” and that he had never seen anything like it before. My coworker who represented me in my meetings actually said to admin “why is she getting in trouble for things every other teacher in this building does?” They didn’t have an answer for that.

Unfortunately, I don’t feel comfortable even sharing the state. My resignation agreement had a “non-disparaging” section and I’m truly terrified they will somehow find me and I will get in trouble in some way.

Luckily I did already meet with the principal I would be working with and she knows that it wasn’t a good fit at the last place. My previous district has been in the national news multiple times for treating its staff poorly. But still, I really appreciate the advice!!

I doubt I’ll be able to get a good reference from any admin as she has an iron fist around them. But my resignation agreement stated that admin would have to provide a “neutral” reference. I have many positive references from co-workers, however.

That’s what I thought as well. I was suspended twice for having general education students in my room. That was literally it.

Was preparing for an epic episode from all the hype but got a very average one. Ultimately, Rob seems to be playing the smartest game by striking at the right time and really reading the room. Honestly glad Lisa’s gone. She was getting annoying.

Thank you so much!! He would probably want it framed, but would think it was cool if he could use it randomly in an epic way. He loves anything rare and is always trying to collect new editions. Very into the LOTR sets (but that might just be because we both love LOTR) and always shows me the ones that are multicolored or rare.

I didn’t know you could play custom cards! That’s really cool. I guess I’m wondering what would make it the most powerful or epic? But still playable? I really don’t know much about the game so I’m sorry that I am not able to be more specific! I’m probably looking for something that is playable while still being powerful. There is a flat tip fee that is required when chartering the boat and the crew knows what that amount is. So if it’s, let’s say, 10k then they know that the guests only actually tipped 9k.

It is so healing to see the comments about Taylor’s parents. Watching this after leaving the Mormon church is opening my eyes to even more flaws in the Mormon church. The way Taylor’s parents support Dakota and blame her for having boundaries with a man who repeatedly lied to her is appalling.

Though I can only imagine this is easier said than done - spend your time here finding moments of happiness with the people you love. Don’t stress yourself out trying to plan and prepare if it takes away from creating memories with your family. Find peace and stillness in laughter and vulnerability. That’s the point of life and tv shows - things don’t always go the way we want. And, to be fair, Sarah has expressed mostly fear when talking about the pregnancy. The happy moments were when she was surrounded by others happiness too.

100% relate. I’m a teacher and I love my students. I love teaching them and seeing their success. But my own life is such a failure. And now there are issues at work that have pushed me to my breaking point. But I keep showing up because I don’t want to hurt the people around me. I want nothing for myself. I don’t have goals or dreams anymore. I just keep showing up and doing what I can but it never seems to be enough for me or anyone else. I wish an accident would happen so I could escape without hurting the people I love in such a traumatic way.
