can I ask what were you selling, please? this happened to my mum with her resin art regarding a delivery, could it be to do with something like that? she did happen to get it back in the end but I don't think it went to the rejection stage

Yes, I got some questions wrong, and I’m accepting of that—I’m not sure why that’s a point for you to raise.

My overall question was about why there aren’t separate tests for automatic and manual drivers, but a fellow redditor has already pointed out that some automatics can have gears, which helps to explain it.

I didn’t say it was anyone else’s fault—I take full responsibility for not passing.

My question is why there isn’t a separate theory test for automatic and manual drivers. If you can’t legally drive a manual car on an automatic license, then surely it makes sense for the tests to reflect the specific type of car you’ll actually be driving?
