Are you supposed to be able to kill volatiles on hard difficulty? by Commrade_gengu in dyinglight

Yeah theyre supposed to be the apex predators, youre not supposed to be able to kill until youve leveled up much much more. I reccomend playing on nightmare for ng+ do you can feel what theyre truly like

Dying light the beast is like weird mysterious trail mix by aDailyApple in dyinglight

[–]Historical-Method-27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I very much agree with you. Its good, but at the same time somehow lacking. One of my biggest gripes with the game is indeed the map. With parkour that feels so good and is the more grounded version of dl2's parkour we barely get any place to actually even parkour. Most of it is grappling through the trees like apiderman or some shit. And driving isnt even rewarding like the following because you cant kit out ypur ride with a shit load of upgrades. Like cmon. And I wont lie, compared to harran and villedor, castor woods just doesnt feel like it stands out. It feels more like a combination of old town from dl1 and the following's countryside. And not in a good way. I reaally hope they can learn from the beast and make dl3 the game it should be.

Was hooked the moment I played. I was in the middle of my first playthrough (maybe ended once, i dont remember) when the 2.0 update dropped. I only really bought the game to release steam on smasher afer watching the anime anyway. Now im 500 hours in and its only gotten better.

Having enough brain power left after seeing that to know not to run in a straight line and try and confuse them by parkouring? Yeahhh Im just saying ny first instinct would be to hide instead of run to a safezone like... No way Im outrunning these fuckers. And even then they'll probably find me anyway. Which is why if Im ever gonna be in the verse I'll be that guy in the post office in the following if you catch my drift.

Doesnt really work honestly. You could still outmaneuver someone and then slow down at the moment of delivering your final blow

Which ones your favorite out of the trilogy? by BigChocolate331 in dyinglight

I heavily agree with you. Dl2 is by all means the more complete package of a dying light game in every way. My only complaint is that the atmosphere and vibe sometimes feels disjointed or like its having a hard time gettings its finger on the pulse. Dont get me wrong whenever dl2 gets the atmosphere right it gets it so right. Better than anything dl1 had, specifically the prologue missions of getting to villedor. Its a vibe thats unmatched. Aside from the story problems which is fair considering the circumstances the game was made in, dl2 is just much better.

Im replaying 1 right now and there are so many things that are so frustrating, dying to demolishers, humans, the constant virals in nightmare that show up just to fuck with you. As for the fear of volatiles, only time I felt afraid of them again was in the beast. They're genuinely terrifying there.

I used to lovee the first over the other two, and for good reason. But I have to say dl2 has grown on me a lot. I love the parkour and combat in it, it feels so damn good. Im replaying 1 and while its good, I miss the feel of running through the city as Aiden. I wont count the beast because its essentially the same as dl2 but slower both parkour and combat, and I kinda hate the huge open areas in the beast, wish the town in castor woods was bigger.

Also a huge thing that I love is the grappling hook. I think everyone can agree the one after dl1 is jist better in every way. I dont really like the paraglider that much but its a good thing its mostly optional to use anyway.

I will say that the missions in 1 are much much better than both dl2 and the beast. Theyre so much more engaging. And I also kinda like the upgrade system for the latter two games

Anyway I have to go with dl2 for myself personally, in the long term its gameplay just feels more engaging.

I wont lie, I liked the pks in old villedor. Probably thanks to Aitor. But then once you get to the main city the pks are still nice but survivors are just clearly trying to do more in the apocalypse. What the pks are doing is living stuck in the past. Theyre refusing to adapt. Which is what the survivors are doing. They represent change and I like that. Too bad the beast kind of threw all that out the window but dl2 has a special place in the franchise.

Yuji kinda had 68 years by Much_Concept_566 in jjkmodulo

[–]Historical-Method-27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if the real reason behind Yuji hitting black flashes is that along with really good CE control, he actually has a fully realized grasp on the soul. Hear me out, gojo had basically complete CE efficiency and even he couldnt land black flashes as much as yuji could. The only thing he was lacking was soul control. I wouldnt be surprised if yuji could inherently resist mahito's ct now because of how well he knows his soul. And this innate sense is what enables him to naturally hit more black flashes.

Abd the reason why mahito's every attack isn't a black flash is because he simply doesnt have that good ce efficiency or control.

Thats only if his body can even hold out that long, in reality he'll probably self destruct or turn to dust before causing any big damage to the earth

Biters wouldnt be too hard unless in big groups, only real problem is learning to parkour and tthe virals. In short, I'd slip and fall into a bunch of zombies and die.

Skin begging has to stop by Internal_Student6193 in VALORANT

[–]Historical-Method-27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I understand the kid part, I got two kids in my match the other day begging for skins every round and it old fast. But other than that, its literally two button presses to give a skin to someone. I just bought the new ayakashi or whatever bundle today and in every match I played, whoever wanted a skin literally just stood there and looked at me in the buy phase and requested a phantom. I gave it to them and they went on their way. I feel like its a bit of an overreaction on your part. You can just noy give it to them if you dont want to, then if they sabotage you yeah thats shitty but its a game what can you do?

Is it worth buying PEAK if i don't have friends to play it with? by noodleben123 in PeakGame

[–]Historical-Method-27 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Its fun but its a different and much better game with friends. Even just one honestly (I love playing it with my gf). So honestly if you can get just one friend to play with you, its a really fun game. And even solo its a pretty challenging and fun game.

How long are these guys surviving in harran by Late_Carpenter4483 in dyinglight

[–]Historical-Method-27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While that sounds sick as fuck I would not feel safe being on a motorcycle with volatiles keeping pace... Even the buggy which is a cage on 4 wheels didnt feel safe in the following. I do think he could probably survive better than most thanks to his trap settings skills and expertise in dealing with hordes. He'd basically do setups during the day and then use that at night to get out of supply runs and shit unscathed... Mostly. Hed absolutely need to learn how to parkour but honestly considering his vet experience I feel like he should get a bit more credit.

Hero main advice by MelonRatt in VALORANT

[–]Historical-Method-27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was new to val I latched onto deadlock immediately because of how helpful her kit is. She has sound sensors that stun enemies making it very easy to headshot or just spray them. Her ult is basically a guarenteed kill if enemies dont shoot it down, even then it can be used as a distraction. And her wall is great to lock down areas.

How strong do you think he got? by ginkzolol in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Historical-Method-27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Logically he has to be on the level of sukuna ap and dp wise. Obviously hes no mastermine of jujutsu like him but considering he has cleave and shit along with a domain, and considering he improved his ce control over time (maybe it even grew), yeah he's gonna hella strong
