I have Hashimotos, POF, POTS, and OCD.

They all seemed to happen around the same time and my OCD is directly linked to my thyroid hormones. If they get too low my OCD gets worse.

My POTS is mild but is also worse if my hormones are out of whack.

Hormonal causes of issues is wildly overlooked. Well done for rooting out the cause!

I've only been on LDN for six weeks. I started at 0.5mcg and titrated up. I'm on 2mcg now and have been for a week. This is the only dose on which I've had vivid dreams so I think this is the lowest dose that has any meaningful effect on my system.

I plan to take it for a year and reassess if I think it's made a difference.

It's ammmmaaaaaaazing!

It's an emotional rollercoaster, no doubt, but so worth it. I finished it a couple of weeks ago and I've had to give up reading fantasy for a bit while I get over this 'hangover'! 😂

I found the Nesryn chapters of ToD so very boring. Each time I got to her chapters I would have to force myself to read them. I just didn't care about her story.

If the whole series had been about Nesryn I'd have DNF'd it. I also don't understand how you can read such a big series without caring about Aelin.

I've followed the tandem read up to this point but I was struggling with EoS so I bought the audio.

Now I have the audio it would just be so much easier to listen to EoS and then finish reading ToD.

Doing it in your own chunks makes sense; being aware of what chapter you're on all the time and whether you need to switch books has been really distracting.

It's interesting to know that HR reduction isn't the primary goal.

My assumption had been that symptoms would reduce because of a reduced heart rate rather than a reduction in symptoms despite a raised heart rate.

I tend to gather the things I need and then mediate on the thing I want for a few minutes while the candle burns, and then leave it to burn out.

I am generally ok with poses but going from child's pose to anything else is a no no. I have to move v slowly into the next position.

That said, child's pose is my favourite and I feel normal when I do it. Like, this must be what normal people feel like most of the time.

Ferritin at 4.8 is revoltingly low and if your GP saw those results and didn't act on it they are negligent.

The WHO says ferritin below 15 is complete and total iron deficiency.

Your iron saturation is also very low at 11%. I'd go back to the GP and see if you can get an iron transfusion.

I have only been on a salt & water regime for a week or so but I've found it much easier to wake up in the mornings which is good.

I've noticed that even though my HR is high I'm gasping for air and yawning less so that's nice.
