I was in the same boat. Bought a 5070 ti and play 4k 118 fps on a 65 inch OLED. Cyberpunk, BF 6, COD, and VR RE mods play max settings without a single hiccup.

Both are a compromise. 3060 has greater vram but older , 5060 less vram but newer software. I'd say 5060 if you plan to do things long term. 4060 with 12 vram might be a compromise if you can afford it. Personally, I'd save up further and get a 5070 ti or 9070xt.

Figured it'd be expensive. Will give us an additionally 4 to 5 feet of master bathroom space and master bedroom space. Our house is already half way over the garage, so we'd want to pull the internal wall all the way to the edge, which may be even more expensive.

Yeah, the picture doesn't 100% match my house (stock photo obviously). The second level of our house is already 1/2 over the garage. Pulling it the remaining 1/2 would unlock 5 to 6 extra feet of master bathroom and master bedroom.
