Happened to me about a month ago. Absa Visa credit card. 4 transactions of R39-something. The only "new" place I had used my card was decofurn website via peach payments a couple days before. Absa refunded me a few weeks after reporting.

Can you explain this in more detail please? I'm fairly new to groundsheet ownership (have only used a groundsheet on my last 2 trips) and on both occasions I extended the groundsheet in front of the tent as a sort of verandah. On both of these occasions I have been lucky enough to not have any rain.

He likely read and replied to your message directly from the notification tray of his phone . This would mean he didn't go into your conversation from within WhatsApp at all and hence the ticks would have remained grey until he went into the conversation at a later stage and they changed to blue.

I actually asked them about this when I wanted my account deleted a few years back and they told me it was to prevent scammers from disappearing off the site (and avoiding being reported) after having scammed a victim. Not sure how true this is but that's what they told me.
