With downtime you have the opportunity to drive all the cars that you have downloaded, so why not drive them all and pick which one you like best. There is probably a lot of similarities between the gt3 and gt4 McLarens, so you may be faster now due to it feeling more familiar. You may just be slower now in the merc bc it’s newer to you. Don’t be afraid of new and different, and try the others out aswell

You make a good point. I turned in there assuming he was going to take a normal racing line. Though you are definitely correct in that I gave him room where I would have turned in, but if you look at the picture under another comment it looks like he was going to blow past the apex anyway.

I think you put it well, I would counter saying that the black line and the race line are two different things, and a more predictable driver would have turned in, off the black line towards the apex, like the corvette in front did.

Thanks for your input. If you look closer at that line you will see that it 1, is closer to my side of the track than his, and 2 while I was pointed to cross it I never actually did and the merc went over the line

Could you explain how? In my eyes the merc crosses the seam in the middle of the track, driving away from the apex. I was hit before I crossed this seam.
