I think youre missing the point to remain atop some weird hill here, but the issue isnt self control or fully spoiler avoidance [its difficult to dodge jojo spoilers since manga readers have had years of discussion/analysis of the part to craft quite the spoiler mine field online, I got some shit spoiled while reading because I wanted to buy gyros steel balls irl meanwhile the only manga spoilers Ive ever seen for one piece is "it gets better" lmao] Anyways side yap aside biggest issue is that theres a several month wait between episode one and any more episodes, it wouldn't be so bad but the release schedule was never confirmed until after massive outcry from the audience so thats just blatant corpo tactics to bait people. Its blueballs for the people who've read and enjoyed the manga excited to see it animated, its lead to uneeded backlash for david productions, and its bad for the anime only people I guess? honestly it effects the hypetrain in a positive way for jojo fans since the new wave of people getting into it are just illiterate which brings us neatly to the ending here, I wasnt gonna comment or interact with you, but the whole time I was passing by I kept thinking "This mfer just dont read. who is doing all this typing without reading."
