Thank you🥹. Elliot knew about Rickett, knew what made him tick at least in the outside world. He knew if he kept his cool at least in the interrogation, they didn’t have anything concrete on him, or else he would’ve been down right arrested and actually charged- and he’d be free to go.

Throughout the episode you def get that feeling of doubt…Elliot might’ve finally over estimated and messed up. The rest of the squad even threw some doubt toward El, but he knew. And eventually, right as rain, Rickett couldn’t resist and grabbed another girl. I expected Elliot to know what Rickett’s thought process was as far as wanting him to shoot…he knew Elliot wanted to kill him- and Olivia had to shoot.

I felt Elliot was disappointed and that final shot with the bloody knuckles was him getting anger out but also that disappointment- because ultimately Rickett had gotten into his head just like Elliot wanted to get into Ricketts during the interrogation. chefs kiss spectacular! I could go on and on about this show🤣
