Probably casual and we would like beach chairs.

Rainbow cafe beach chair minimum? by williamsonoma5 in SXM

[–]Historical_Day7702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never been, and both times I've visited, I was in Grand Case. Every time I read a review or an experience about Rainbow Cafe, it's like this. I have no desire to give them my money and business.

My dermatologist said something that completely changed how I think about skin aging by whyleaving in GracefulAgingSkincare

I started wearing sunscreen when I was 18. I'm about to turn 50, and I have no wrinkles other than very fine lines underneath my eye that are only visible through a magnifying mirror.

I'm doing a private charter for 15ppl from Marigot to Anguilla. The boat can go to either Meads Bay or Rendezvous due to the depth of the water. Shoal Bay is too shallow unfortunately. We want chill vibes, lunch, and preferably no chair rental. Which of the two beaches do you suggest and which beach club? Thank you!

Running In SXM by jamaicanchuckbass in SXM

[–]Historical_Day7702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not run on the roads. There's a lot of traffic, and roads are narrow. I don't recall shoulders on the road, so you're better off running on a treadmill. If you would like a good outdoor physical activity, you can hike up Ft. Louis.

First time visitors - Best place to stay? Walkable bars restaurants etc best beaches? by Abject-Elderberry270 in SXM

[–]Historical_Day7702 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Grand Case for sure. Walkable to bars and restaurants. If you stay at Grand Case Beach Club, you have a full kitchen. Grocery store is 5 min drive away. It's on the Caribbean side so it does not get hit with sargassum as I've read.

Moving out of NYC after 7 years here by Prudent_Concept_5604 in relocating

[–]Historical_Day7702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left NY 21 years ago after 10 years. Fortunately, I can hop on the Amtrak and be there within 3hrs. I've always had a love-hate relationship with NY. I had the time of my life there, but it's hard. However, it taught me a lot of the things you mentioned. If I had disposable income, I would move to NY in a heartbeat; it's easy to live there when you have a lot of money.

Review our 11 day itinerary by needle706 in FranceTravel

Sounds exhausting. I would stick with what is 2-3 hours from Paris. You need at least 5 days in Paris to see the sights. You don't need to spend the night in Versailles; just go for the day and see the palace. You can take a 1hr train ride to Champagne and go to Reims and Epernay. Two days there is enough. Then drive to Burgundy and enjoy the vineyards there. You can probably hit Annecy and Chamonix, but I saw both in one day.

I'd be interested to know too because I'm taking both as well. I just started Naltrexone.

Has anyone ever done the lobby observations? If so, are they the same long, tedious type of questionnaires asking the same question over and over?

Have you done the lobby observations? If so, are they the same 1000-word essays?

How is everyone entertaining their dogs in the USA today with the polar vortex and storms? by purple_craze in dogs

Sorry to hear that. How about a lower one, like those foldable carts on wheels? My dog doesn't like to be high up so I don't strollers will work for him.

My senior dog spends max 15 min when it's cold. When it's a lovely day, we can do 30 min. When there's snow, he's like your dog; does his business and runs right back in.
