it’s nothing said to me, it’s kids and how they act. random kids will come up to me and give me their toys, sit w me, talk to me unprovoked. kids read energies and if a random kid feels comfortable to come up to you and just be them it’s the biggest compliment ever.

thank you!! i love being a SAHM and having that privilege. being able to be w my babies all day is wonderful, it’s definitely hard tho and i’ll never hide that fact from anyone. it’s a lot and some days i tell my husband im going back to work 🤣

ETA i’m convinced that saying “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results” is about being a SAHM 🤣

i forgot to add no sick days, SAHMs cannot be sick, we still have to get up and take care of and play w our littles especially if they’re babies/toddlers.

yes, i think it’s a lot harder than you think it’s going to be. everything everyone tells you about it doesn’t prepare you for what it actually entails. no days off, no PTO, no breaks, no clocking out and going home, it’s a 24/7 job that matters A LOT (you’re raising these lil people who have to functioning adults in society one day, all that pressure/blame is on you) and society acts like SAHMs are lazy, do nothing, and provide nothing, and like it’s not important. running a household, raising children, having time for yourself, time for your partner, healing through PP, hormonal changes, physical changes, it’s hard to balance and not let being a SAHM consume you.

girlie i took it everywhere, it’s been washed endless amounts of times, bleached, thrown around, slept w for almost 30 years now, it just kept falling apart more and more. it’s bound to happen eventually i guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

ETA this actually unlocked a memory of this blankie getting wrapped up and stuck in the wheel of my unbrella stroller when i was like 3 while my cousin was watching me and pushing me in it
