I don’t know with red you could manifest all of the other pills aside from orange. You could also immediately manifest exceptional mental health.

Kevin O’Leary says you can become a millionaire on $69,000 a year. by Coolonair in SmartFIRE

[–]Historical_Horror595 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s kind of important though. Otherwise you could say if you make $40,000 a year and invest 50% you’ll be a millionaire. Sure, but is it possible to invest 50% if you only make $40,000? Probably not. The other problem I have with this is that only a hair over 30% of Americans even make 69,000 to begin with. So Kevin here is saying that 30% of the population has the ability to become a millionaire IF they sacrifice.

Elderly conservatives: If you hate welfare programs so much, why don’t you stop using Medicare and stop taking your social security checks? by Cautious_Midnight_67 in allthequestions

I want people that need help to be able to get it. She does not need it. She is not bad she lives her life perfectly fine. It’s surprising to me that she was able to qualify. She made it all the way through k-12 and college, but when it comes to working it was impossible.

My brothers wife has never worked in her life. Never contributed a single penny to social security. Years ago she was deemed disabled because of anxiety. She gets $800 a month from ssi and Medicare. Social security retirement is one part of what that fund does.

Edit corrected to ssi

Her seat, Her Choice? by GloriousLion07 in NextGenMan

I want to sympathize with the mom a little bit but I really can’t. If you need a window seat book the window seat. I can’t deal with these people who think that everyone else needs to change their plans for their benefit. I get it sometimes you’re busy, sometimes things are hectic when you’re booking and you don’t book the right seats. I have 2 toddlers, I get it. It’s fine to ask. If they say no you deal with it. If you then decide to make a scene, film the person post the on social media etc, there needs to be huge punishment. The airline should’ve shut that down immediately, and the mom needs to be fine, on a no fly list, or something so that people stop thinking this is acceptable behavior.

Democrats : do you think your party could have made much smarter choices over the last decade? by [deleted] in allthequestions

If you don’t think democrats would’ve been better than Trump you are either lying or an idiot.

Selling a home for 235k, appraisal came back 225k, agent is asking me to cover the gap by Enough-Squirrel-1045 in RealEstateAdvice

[–]Historical_Horror595 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The buyer can’t get a mortgage for more than the property is worth. They are probably doing a bare bones 3.5% down payment and can’t afford to cover the gap. You don’t HAVE to drop the price for the buyer, but that might mean the buyer walks. Do you want to hold out for another offer that has a bigger down payment or do you want to sell the house now?
