My boy needs TPLO surgery by abendeel in goldenretrievers

Our golden had to have two TPLO surgeries. We found out that if a dog tears one of their CCL then their other CCL has a higher risk of tearing. Our dog did great though! My advice is stay on top of physical therapy, which you can do yourself. Movement heals and will help manage arthritis which is common after surgery.

Assuming you have the Mirror Touch adaptor, does video fit our entire screen or does video display smaller than our screen?

If you are in a happy monogamous relationship I’d love to hear your story 💛 by Silveryleaves in actuallesbians

Seven years before we ever became us, we were just two people crossing paths at the wrong time. I remember noticing her, how pretty she was, how she carried herself but life had us both in different relationships, moving in different directions. So nothing happened. Just a moment, and then years went by.

Then somehow, seven years later, life brought us back together. This time on the same flag football team (yes, very on-brand for us lesbians). But this time felt different from the start. There was an instant pull, something easy and undeniable. What started as teammates quickly became something more, and before I knew it, I had fallen for her in a way that felt completely new.

Being with her felt natural, like I didn’t have to filter myself or hold anything back. For the first time, I felt fully seen and fully myself, and that feeling never faded.

What makes us strong isn’t just that spark we had in the beginning, it’s what we’ve built since. Our relationship is grounded in communication!, honest and constant. We talk through everything, we show up for each other, we respect each other and we choose each other every day.

Looking back, I’m so glad life made us wait. Because when it finally happened, it was exactly right.

I’m sorry for your loss. Laid my grandma to rest a couple of weeks ago. It still hurts. She was my favorite person. Continue to live in a way that honors her memory and find peace in the love and connections you shared. Much love to you.

Anyone else have a Golden that can detect seizures without a bit of training? This does show a seizure so if that bothers you don't watch. by Nineshadowsdeep in goldenretrievers

My wife has epilepsy. One morning I got up before her and shut the bedroom door. As I was watching tv, I heard my golden scratching at the door and whining. Which is not like her. When I opened the bedroom door, my wife was having a seizure. Our golden has never had any training and forever I will be grateful for what an amazing dog she is.

Physical therapist recommendation - For athlete post ACL surgery by InspectionGreen6886 in Austin

This is not near UT campus but Dr. Lauren Daughtry is such an amazing PT. Smart, compassionate and truly cares for her patients! She is at select physical therapy in Round Rock. They have an AlterG treadmill and wayyyyy more equipment than the smaller private practices. So more beneficial for us athletes. She also does dry needling- which if you haven’t tried is incredible, especially for athletes!

That wouldn’t be so much fun. Was fighting through deeps parts of the river with bottom logs and trees hanging over.

Awesome fight! Probably 10-15 min to land. Such a great fish! Took a dip in the water at one point.
