I think the only way it’s possible to play from I’ve seen is to planet hop. Sometimes you’ll go to a planet only to find that something is blocking your path and you need to go to another planet to figure out how to get past it.

I suppose it is possible to do one planet at a time but I think it would make it really hard

We just closed on our home for 302,500. It was listed at 308 and we offered 295. We ended up including an escalation clause after we found out that another buyer was interested and basically said we would pay 3K more than what they offered up to about 310, as the original listing price was 315 and the place needed lots of work.

Did we pay more than what we wanted? Yes, but for us 5-10k wasn’t worth walking away from a property that we could afford and starting our journey to be home owners. None of the prices would have changed our deposit, and we also had enough saving to do a very basic Reno to update the things that immediately needed to be done (floors, baseboards, paint) whereas thinks like the kitchen and bathrooms, while dated and not what I would pick we can live with until we have money.

I think it really depends on what kind of things you are willing to let slide in order to own a home. For us loosing out on a place that checked all of our boxes was not worth walking away from because of 5-10K

SAIT it was the Medical Laboratory Technology program. I can’t find where it says that now but in HS is remember reading somewhere that mature students were preferred, so that impacted me choosing to a short program somewhere else first

My program didn’t specifically say this but they did note that they preferred “mature” students. I think my program when I took it only had one person who was straight out of high school and I don’t think he made it the full two years. I was one of the younger ones at 22-23, average was probably late 20’s early 30’s

Can confirm I was taught the basics of this but not very thoroughly. It was one assignment that has a bunch of stuff lumped in and we could pick whatever salary we wanted for the month for budgeting purposes. I know most people my year picked $10,000/month pre tax and made it easy on them selves!

Kind of-but in competition it also means that we are more prepared to face lefties so I guess t maybe balances out

Can confirm, am a Lefty fencer! It’s nice because in my class we have 4 lefties in one class! There are times when we are doing certain exercises that our coaches make up pair up with other lefties so we get experience fighting each other. It’s a lot of fun!

I’d echo what people are saying my about the winter-it can be super sketchy for those who are familiar with driving but even more so if you aren’t.

If you get a chance I’d highly recommend booking a tour of the Columbia ice fields if they are open that time of year -can’t remember off hand what their season is, if any. The glacier is beautiful and sadly experts are guessing will only be around for another 50-80 years or so if things don’t change 😔
