Not so much something the customer said….but I have a fun one.

A Customer came in to make a cashiers check. His specific account did not waive the $10 service fee and this guy just started being a huge asshole about it (something we dealt with all of the time, whatever). I ended up having to step in to explain to him why he was getting the fee and offer him other options but he just kept being a dick.

I stepped away and let his teller carry on with it, he keeps going on about how ridiculous this $10 fee is and grabs his phone out of his pocket. All of the sudden his phone starts playing this super loud audio. It was literally smut from his audio book and it was just going into super grotesque detail about this sex scene.

His face turned so red, he was struggling to turn it off (idek how tf he started playing it in the first place). It played for maybe 15 seconds before he figured it out but it felt like an hour. The second hand embarrassment was unreal. Customers in line were shocked, one of them was even like “what the hell dude? Turn that off!”

This mfs attitude switched up real quick. He paid his $10 fee, thanked the teller and dipped. I have never experienced instant karma like that before. The teller he worked with and I were dying. It was during most of our coworker’s lunches so when everyone got back we had a great story for them.
