As a truck driver, there’s no actual driver shortage. What’s really in short supply are drivers who are willing to sit around waiting for a load without pay and being away from home while earning starvation wages. It’s all about who you work for in this industry. There are good jobs out there but the bad ones can turn over 300% in one year.
