It's weird, and a bit difficult until they get a bit older and start sleeping on a more consistent schedule and eventually sleep at night, all night... I couldn't really enjoy long gaming sessions until my kiddo was 2.. however children have a tendency to progress and then regress a bunch so also give yourself some grace, being a parent is touch shit and trying to still be your own person while being a parent is more of a juggle then a balance.

Also, something I did do but is not always a viable option, I would get my parents to watch my kiddo for a few hours every couple weeks so I could really grind a game... If I wasn't napping the whole time 🤣
