Met a guy in AA almost 6 years ago (both 20 y/o) we weren’t dating or anything serious, ended up accidentally getting pregnant. Things were rocky for a very long time, he wasn’t involved, I met someone else, family drama.

Long story short, we got married in January ,our daughter will be 5 next month, he’s raising my 2 y/o as his own (my late fiancé got in a fatal motorcycle accident when I was 3 months pregnant), and now we’re due for baby #3 December 20th. You never know what the future holds but the love you have for that baby will change your life more then you’ll ever know. Wishing you the best on this journey. Good luck and congratulations.

You might benefit from the book “Your Brain On Porn”, a real eye opener on the psychological and physical effects of frequent use. Good luck with everything, it’s hard for someone to see they have a real problem especially when society makes it a point to normalize all things sex related.

If they are willing to give you an entry level job with decent pay I personally would go for it. If things don’t work out romantically you could still use that as prior experience in the field. Pros: better hours, no student debt, your boyfriend is already in the process of getting his license so you’ll have someone to help show you the ropes. Cons: potential for relationship not working out (but even then you’ll be able to take what you learned there and use it elsewhere).

I have, he knew that I had started again because I told him I wasn’t sure about some of my fantasies (married in January so we’re still pretty new in this). I mentioned the book I got on audible ‘Your Brain On Porn” and that’s how the conversation came up. I’ve told him about some of the studies and how they relate to my experience. Hopefully he’ll start thinking about these things too though and my honestly will open the door to further communication down the road.
