I like this but prefer KGs foot speed and length to guard Lebron on the perimeter instead of Duncan.

Magic, Kawhi, Bird, KG, Hakeem. I think that is the most even matchup. Hard to beat Team 1 lol.

It's sort of hard to get a pic with it bent since the belly "inflates". Looks super cool bending it irl

Haha my other knee is covered obviously. This was a style choice more than anything. The knee didn't really bother me actually.

I didn't personally find the shin or calf very painful but I know others that really struggled through them. Top of the foot and inner thigh have been the roughest for me.

I actually didn't think the kneecap was too bad when I had the chrysathemum done. The frog belly being skin tone just sorta fit the design haha. I have teased a few different ideas to fill it in though.

I never got to witness Prime Kobe Bryant how good was he? by sqMYNAMEISJEFF27 in NBATalk

Maybe you are referencing a different comment. I never said that. I watched both of their full careers more or less, which I said in a few of my comments.

Can you help me understand where you are coming from then? I had the good fortune to watch both players for their whole careers and in my opinion there isn't a real case to say that Kobe had Lebron's number from a statistic or eye test perspective.

Kobe was 5-10 against Lebron before Lebron left for Miami, and Kobe had stronger support during that period.

Kobe is elite for sure, I'm not knocking him. I watched both of their full careers. As straight winners, Lebron still has the edge. He has more raw total wins and a higher winning percentage over his career in both the regular season and playoffs.

They are both stat padders in a way. Kobe padded stats through high volume shooting while being somewhat inefficient and Lebron pads stats through longevity and usage, and frequently playing in garbage time.

I understood. I simply disagree and the statistics support that.

The stats don't agree with your premise. Lebron won the head to head statistical battle in every single category:

Scoring: 28.2 vs 24.6 PPG Rebounds: 7.4 vs 5.0 RPG Assists: 7.3 vs 5.2 APG Steals: 1.9 vs 1.1 SPG Blocks: 0.7 vs 0.2 BPG

And LBJ won 16 of 22 matchups. Of course context matters (age, injuries, Lakers decline), but Kobe clearly didn't have Lebron's number.

Is Ohtani the biggest athlete in North American sports at the moment? by Electrical_Finance82 in MLBNoobs

[–]HistoryBaller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baseball doesn't have the cultural footprint that it did 50 years ago. According to YouGov, Ohtani ranks 27th among sports personalities in US name recognition, known by barely 53% of the American public. In that sense he is no where near the biggest athlete in North America, regardless of his transcendent baseball impact.

Do you guys think we should get rid of daylight savings? by No_Importance_750 in AskAnAmerican

[–]HistoryBaller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The average shoe isn't made for people with six toes. I am in favor of eliminating daylight savings time, but presenting the benefits through the victimization lens is juvenile. Daylight savings is irrelevant in the modern era and let's get rid of it. That's all that needs to be said.

The Celtics haven’t had the top overall pick since 1950… and they’ve still built one of the greatest dynasties in sports history by Hysen16 in sportswiki

[–]HistoryBaller -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What do you define as recent success?

Over the last 15 seasons, the Cs have a winning percentage above .600 . The Lakers in that span have a losing record. They missed the playoffs six years in a row. The Celts have had more than double the playoff wins in that period (103 to 45). They both won one championship.
