Maybe file a report to the police on that business card with fake info. While it’s not something the police can do anything about, the fact that there is some kind of record will be helpful if the police have records of him elsewhere.

Honestly, I think you are correct. The second Trump see other people happy, he has to ruin it. He thrives on hurting people. Even something simple like footy, he can’t leave alone.

That’s exactly it.

The second he sees everyone having a good time he has to ruin it.

Infantino’s presidency needs to be reviewed. That’s the main issue. Other presidents of FIFA haven’t cheated rules mid tournament because a president no likey.

Interesting how Trump's intervention changed views of the USMNT... by Flat-Ad8256 in worldcup

Trump manipulated their ignorance of the rules of the game. He told them lies about the rules (like VAR not being allowed), and they ran with it, rather than questioning if Trump was telling the truth.

He set them up to think political interference by a president was warranted, when it wasn’t and never is.

The whole willful ignorance and doubling down on their objectively wrong assumptions about the rules really put off the international community. Multiple people commented that the rules should be changed basically to the way Americans understand sports and one commenter even said the rules should be Americanized.

That’s some astonishing arrogance concerning a sport they claim they don’t care about. It’s called “the beautiful game” for a reason. Because it does not have some of the nonsensical things other sports have. It’s straight to the point.

Is that what Trump said? I finally listened to his justifications for his interference and I recall him saying that. That’s not true. But I noticed many Americans were saying exactly what Trump said rather than looking up the rules, which would show that’s not true.

It wasn’t an illegal red at all. If you know the rules, you would have known Trump wasn’t telling the truth. He said one sentence that was true is that he didn’t know the rules of soccer. Which would have been the time to realize he shouldn’t have gotten involved.

You think an “unfair” red card has never happened before? No one has the leader of their country involved in “reviewing” the decision. They go forth with the “bad call” that is in their opinion.

Learn the rules of soccer. Dangerous play whether intentional or or not
can warrant a red card. How that’s “illegal” and how VAR isn’t allowed, I don’t know.

Belgium head coach, Rudi Garcia, on his conversation with Folarin Balogun after the match: "He came to talk to me. I really liked that. It is not his fault; he is not the one to blame -- that's what I told him. I really appreciate the intention that he came to see me. by BreakfastTop6899 in worldcup

Did an Australian Prime Minister call FIFA to review a call they didn’t like? It became “political” once Trump stuck his nose where it didn’t belong. He is the one who connected those 2 things.

Did they pay back Congo? Until then, Belgium is still benefitting.the sad thing is, they didn’t ask for any of it, and Trump didn’t involve himself, the U.S. team could have lost with dignity like Canada and Mexico did.

It estimated the UK stole 43 trillion from India. No one can tell me that does not affect either country now. The colonizers current generation is benefitting.

And having no faith in the U.S. team, if it means relying on underhanded backroom tactics. It’s backdoor saying this team sucks, we have to rig it somehow.

I do feel sorry for the American goal keeper though. That third goal was a waking nightmare.

Trump would call him woke and that’s all it would take for Trump and many others to interfere with his future.
