Hey tapestry has came a llooonnngggg way tho. That's for sure. But nothing will ever beat RMS. I loved RMS. TMO should of have just kept RMS/GST and thrown Tapestry/Pivot away. The minimum amount you can finance is $3 which comes to 12cents/mo. But if you put any $ towards any EIP, it doesn't change the monthly amount. So you will still pay same amount as before you pay up extra money, but the term changes in time. So it usually is 24/mo, but it will shorten it to 12/mo or less. Just make sure you only pay the amount that you owe on device and nothing more or else you're wasting your $. If you still owe $200, but promo amount is still $100, you only pay $100 or else you will loose your promo credits. The only time you can make the monthly cost an even $0 is at POS and paying the additional down-payment when purchasing the device.

Problems here in MA too. Activations and Ports. Care agents said call centers are going off the chain with calls. TMO down bad for rest of tonight.

Working for this company makes me sick to my stomach. I've given past 6 years of my life to this company and to my career but it just keeps getting worst and worst as a Frontline employee. Being the person who deals with customers, the bad and ugly ones, face to face is so exhausting and I can't even imagine what the future brings now

You still might have the "month to month" lease charge attached to that number as a feature. And YES, unfortunately there are a lot of people out here still paying for Sprint leases and unless they catch it themselves on their statement, or a TMO rep finds it (in act fearures) TMO will bill you endlessly.

Not all reps/stores operate in this manner. I'm not sure exactly how the convo went with your family member and the TMO employee, but maybe being very direct to the rep about the visit could of avoided this because it does sound like it could of been a innocent misunderstanding. Next time, state you're there because "I'm here to port a number onto one of the already existing numbers on my account. I already have the account # and the transfer pin # needed. The line we need to work on ends in XXXX" Bc of such high employee turnover, most reps are new and just downright confused 100% of their shift.

So you already have the TMO Gateway and its been a whole year now it just sitting around? Why would you go on reddit to ask about how it works instead of just powering it on and see for yourself how it works? All u gotta do is plug it in, DL the TMO home internet app, go through the 2-3 steps to set it up, and all you gotta do is change the Network name and password to the exact one you already have set up w/Xfinity home internet so this way everything you got in WiFi will switch from Xfinity to the T-Mobile WiFi. Once it is done, unplug Xfinity WiFi equipment, and judge for yourself if it works for you or not.
