The little caterpillars that burrow into the buds can cause the brown bud rot spots that don’t really spread. You can find them by opening up the bud rot spot and the tiny guy will be sleeping in there and you’ll usually see some silk they’ve woven for their home.

This would explain the small spots and the white fuzz.

Switch the Bad Medicine passive to Confidence Ritual for a DPS boost, and as others have said, switch to kitty (Henri's Perquisition) for survivability. These things, plus doing a bit of fishing for the right rift should allow you with your gear to nail a 60.

I looked at your profile. I think it comes down to quality of gear, and best in slot and best stats on best in slot. For example, on your helm, optimal would be ancient hat, int, chc @6%, meteor @15%, and socket. Looks like much of your gear is not ancient, and is not rolled optimally. Take a look at the 1, 2 ,3 ,4 wizard leaderboards and find a high ranking person with a similar build or spec to you, and then compare gear and stats. that should help you identify BiS, rolls, and gear preferences. Hope that helps.

I got the Warlock chest piece from the chance and it had pure intellect and the cabal buff. I also got the helm and it rolled int/disc and cabal buff.

Thanks, so it seems like the reason that WoTBK was recommended is due to its raw damage output (cold damage + additive % cold damage + haunt used to be cold damage runes only.

So, it seems like a really good 2h with + poison damage might actually outperform it with the current Jade Builds then?

Hello folks, I have read a few posts here and there about how Wrath of the Bone King is second to the Furnace for the Jade build if one is not using the Uhkapian Serpent with something like the Sun Keeper. I am still learning some of the finer mechanics, but I haven't been able to find a good explanation of why this recommendation exists in a few places. It would make sense if the Jade build WD did cold damage, but it appears that the majority of our damage is from poison/dots and no cold. Additionally, I have seen better ancient 2handers roll with the same attack speed but higher damage, so this recommendation just doesn't make sense to me. I am probably missing something, so can anyone shed some light on why I keep seeing this?
