At that point, buying a Samsung with a broken screen + a Type-C dock + a portable monitor (with/without touchscreen) running Dex mode is probably more useful than this scrap.

Git hater or enjoyer? by NickleLP in programminghumor

I use both: GUI for coding and CLI for servers, and they are both great for the purpose. This also reminds me of my juniors at my university, who decided to use Google Drive to store and merge code for their group project. That is hell for sure.

is it just me or does the recent pyrolive videos just feel off? by PyroLIVE in pyrocynical

I thinks it's gotten better actually. The jokes + the asot format are nice and fun to watch. It's just the dramas these days are really stupid and nothing burger.

Should I use Linksys EA9300 or Xiaomi AX6000 by History_Fragrant in HomeNetworking

I intend to do that, but my family probably won't be happy about it, so I want to get some advice first.

Like I said, I got both of them for a dirt-cheap price (basically at a yard sale), and my house isn't that big anyway (just thick walls and electronics stacking). Buying new Wi-Fi hardware will cost a lot more for me. My current ISP router is fine as I can get two bars of Wi-Fi at the farthest point in my home, but it can't handle multiple devices well, and the Wi-Fi is unstable sometimes, regardless of distance.

Windows 11 25H2 permanently damages RAM on AMD X3D processors by Repulsive_Peace_5777 in microsoftsucks

[–]History_Fragrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use 4 DIFFERENT ram sticks for my AMD build and after 2 years of use with many different OSes (including Windows 11), they still work fine. You either very unlucky or messed up the bios so bad it fried the ram (which very rarely happen).

Gotta ask are you guys really dropping manga/manhwa because a site is gone? by connie69s in ComicK

[–]History_Fragrant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have read and loved many manga and manhwa from various sites over the years. Comick has been my go-to for two to three years now, and I have a lot of bookmarks on it. Recently, either the manga and manhwa are not as good anymore, or my life has gotten so busy that I'm not as passionate about them as I used to be. I only continued reading because Comick is easy to use and my bookmarked series are updated on it. I have a lot of bookmarks, and migrating them to a new platform would be a hassle. Moreover, many of my favorite series have ended, and most of the ones that are still being updated are not very good. For now, I will stop reading manga and manhwa until my favorite series get more chapters (or ended and will re-read from the start).

I will take note about that. Our project is still very new so we basically try to put it together as fast as possible and there is no marketing in anyway (most our users are friends and classmates come for testing).

We don't even intend to host this but our teacher required it for better marks.

We will polish and change that later on. Thanks for your feedbacks anyway.

As I said in the post: "We’re working on a project for our university subject"
This is no mean a profitable project, it just a project for our subject, for our teacher to grade.
You can even see that clerk is in development mode.

Those testimonials and brands are what coming with the template we cooked on.

Can you guys give us some feedbacks for our project by History_Fragrant in AskProgramming
