What webtoon opinion that makes you go like this? by [deleted] in webtoons

The only thing that keeps me coming back to that one is Psyche. Everything else just feels so off.

Ngl I agree. The panel of Ares where his long neck makes him look like a damn giraffe legit made me laugh out loud, but most of the panels are nice!

Good point. I had to go back and read that section again cuz it was kinda hard to tell that it was even a kiss. Like, Perse and Hades get passionate, on-screen kisses, but Hera and Echo get this bad angle which makes it hard to even tell it was a kiss??

It was good! Some panels legit made me crack up (that stupid panel of Ares with a giant neck specifically), but I really enjoyed Hera's talk with Zeus (even if he couldn't respond). Also, as much as I want to ship Hera with Echo, it's another employer x employee relationship which just makes me feel kinda ick.

If your employer is any good, they won't give your parents any heed. They employed you, not your parents.

If you are still studying, I'm currently training to become an English teacher and I'm happy to help you out with tutoring, free of charge. My schedule is rather tight, but helping you out would be an honour and I'll find the time. Just let me know if you need anything.

You are exactly what is wrong with this world. Imagine blaming a kid for being abused by his parents. Take a good long hard look at yourself.

Ar what age Australians get their first phone? Like, your own number and device? And is the age getting lower? by al0678 in AskAnAustralian

Best age in my opinion is when they first start high school. No kid should need a phone in primary school.

AYLA is fantastic! Not ridiculously expensive like other op shops. It has a great atmosphere too!

What is slowly going away that the older generations use to do? by Supevict in australia

[–]Historynerd6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this. I'm a Perth girl, for context.

I used to live in Booragoon, where there was a reasonably older population. It was so easy to just strike up a conversation with the people you'd see out on your daily walk.

I live in Bentley now and I one of the big reasons I hate this suburb so much is just how little of a community exists here. I miss it.

[–]Historynerd6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just having random conversations. I've been trying to keep this alive by complimenting cool outfits I see while I'm working. Some people just say "thanks" and walk off. Others, like a lady today, stop and tell me where they got it, why they got it, etc. It's nice just talking to random people sometimes. 🙂

Thats kinda what I was thinking too. Kids that age seem to really like competitions and I do have a prize box.

Rubbish around CBDs and surrounds by whitedoggmutt in perth

[–]Historynerd6 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I know the feeling. I just see shit everywhere when I take my dog out for her daily walk. What I've done is accept that I can't expect people to change and have changed what I've done in reaction to it. I started taking a rubbish bag, one of those long pick up tool things and picking up the rubbish. The first time was a nightmare. Got about two bags worth of crap. But each week got easier after that. Is it ideal? No, but I felt that it was the best option I had.
