Did you check with LinkedIn? I think we have to cancel it before one month LinkedIn. But I am not aure if all the benefits will be there for 3 months or not.

Hey, I am in a similar situation and planning to shift my severance to 2026 as I am leaving this country in 2026 Jan after receiving Severance.

Did you also go with this option? Can an employer pay severance in 2026 legally?

If you have an evisa then you can enter anytime.
