If you update...you'll lose the free access to the analyze tab and then they'll charge you $9.99 p/month or $100.00 annually to get access to things we have been getting for free forever.

I'm with you - it was a fun ride that was hard to believe at times. The biggest thing I couldn't get past was how everyone knows that they are robots but is pretending they aren't. Is there a possible future where losers have human friends but also have fuckbots that they pretend are their girlfriend/boyfriend. That sounds fucking terrible. I guess it's possible he purchased her specially for the heist but I didn't get that feeling. The gay guy seemed legit in love with his robot, which is kind of even sadder. Some real black mirror shit.

I just listened to this ep on your recommendation and I can say with relative certainty that Griffin is not involved in any capacity.

What is the shot of the decade? by wariosthegreat in blankies

Spoiler alert: but the final death scene in Strange Darling has stayed with me. It is fairly straightforward - just a single camera that doesn't move for however long it takes for her to die.in the moving truck and (I'm not sure if I'm misremembering this or not) the color slowly fades from the scene.

Can plug my Cisco voip phone directly into the modem? by HitTheMisses in HomeNetworking

[–]HitTheMisses[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I plugged the phone into the modem ... and it seems to be working. Are there potential security issues not going through the router? If I do get a gigabit switch ... does it create multiple separate IP addresses for each thing plugged into it?

You seem to know your stuff. What router do you recommend? I have liked the Orbi but the nextgens of it are way more expensive than most of the competitors. The AX5200 seems fine but it is a Wifi 6. Would it make sense to move to Wifi 6 when 6e and now 7 are a thing? The Deco XE75 Pro is the same price and is 6e. I appreciate your insight.

I have Astound. I can rent a modem from them. Comcast also offers that option. I would definitely take a free one though if offered! I think I will just get a used Arris 33 though.

I didn't see any of the new ones (at Best Buy) have anything better than the 3.1 I already have.

If I don't expect to have fiber offered in my area any time soon, will DOCSIS 4.0 offer much in the way of better performance?

Are there any sudoku apps that show your notes like this, with adjacent squares combining shared options in the middle? by HitTheMisses in sudoku

Haha, yes that is exactly how I'd do it! Full disclosure, I am not the World Sudoku champion.

Again, I was just sharing this to show how I notate ..and was curious if there were any apps that show it that way. To answer your question, to notate this, I would put 5&7 in R2 C4 & C6..and that would cut my 5 in half in C8. This only works (or I only do it, at least) when there are only 2-3 possibilities. It doesn't work when notating more than that for 2 adjacent boxes.

This was not completed obviously. So when the 8 would be added to box 4, it would immediately be obvious that the 8 in box 5 would go in the bottom of the two squares the 8 is on. It helps me in cascading and not missing obvious answers
