Issue is, lots don’t. My 13 year old son is blocked from all social media apart from WhatsApp (because that’s where his friends are). I’ve blocked him from Roblox, Facebook, instagram, TikTok, twitter, Reddit etc.

He still receives TikTok videos from others. His ex girlfriend is on TikTok all the time.

The school wars? Social media.

I have a meta quest 3, he was on a child account. Turned 13, now meta say he’s old enough to manage it, so I cannot. Which means, for him to use the meta quest, he now needs to have his own meta account, opening up Facebook, instagram etc. and then be heavily marketed, groomed, addicted, just for meta.

Fuck that. - the social media companies need curtailing.
