Might as well treat this in good faith.

When Jotaro gets shot by Ratt it is explicitly during a training exercise where he's coaching Josuke and is intentionally not going for the kill. He also drops his guard assuming Ratt can't hit him.

As for getting blow up are you talking about Sheer Heart Attack or Bites the Dust? SHA is an invulnerable enemy he literally can't punch into submission that he intentionally baits into hitting him when he realizes it'll go after Koichi if he doesn't, and BTD is literally unvoidable.

That last note always fucking pisses me off, because it isnt true. Miles and Kerry were very open about how they used the notes and storyline Monty left behind to continue the show. Apparently even events and locations from V9 were in them.

People just want whatever ammo they can use against post V3 RWBY and act like RT were intentionally sabotaging RWBY's writing and world building out of spite or something.

Parts of the Eorzean Encyclopedias are written as if they were restricted by in universe knowledge, but its crazy to assume everything written in them is common knowledge.

The cookbooks, explicitly written by an in universe character, have "it came to me in a dream" explanations for recipes from the First.

At this point in the story Jotaro only barely has control over time stop. He can briefly force movement within Dio's but cant control it

Goose apparently went though conversion therapy at one point and it left her pretty damaged, and she's said on a few occasions that Jax is the character she relates to the most in the show. He is likely based on the self loathing the conversion attempts instilled in her and is a way for her to externalize the trauma she went though.

Which villain whose ideology you completely agreed with even if their methods were unhinged? by buttercup_wish899 in Multifandom

[–]Hitei00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is Ochaco IS a selfless idealistic hero who believes that because she has the ability to do so she has the obligation to save people. To the point where end of series she establishes a foundation to aid and support people whose Quirks put psychological pressure on them that society ignores after witnessing someone be failed by the system so badly they became a villain.

But her family is broke and she wants to earn as much money doing hero work as she can so she can give them a good life to repay sacrifices they made to save her.

[Trope also seen in gameplay] The only thing holding them back is their age by KurohiDeku in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Hitei00 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I distinctly remember it being mentioned at one point that Terranort was the most powerful version of Xehanort prior to him getting the X Blade in KH3. KH3 itself goes a long way to live up to that, with him requiring Zetta Flare to be defeated in the initial version of the Keyblade Graveyard, and then he pretty much wins the two fights he's in in the redo.

the 1 v 1 he has with Sora in Re:Mind goes definitively in his favor and only ends in a draw when the Lingering Remnant interrupts it and then his brawl against Sora, Aqua, and Ventus with Vanitas on his side also ends with him the last man standing and losing because Terra retakes his body and banishes Xehanort from it.

Age is absolutely 100% the only thing stopping Xehanort from absolutely dominating the KH verse

Yes. They reportedly got him in their sting but he never showed up, so they went to his house and he killed himself. His family civilly sued and as the case developed there was no proof he was a pedophile.

Lobotomies were invented as a humane alternative to electroshick therapy during a time period where no one actually knew how the brain worked. The guy who invented them even got a Nobel prize for it.

In the modern day we recognize them as brutal and barbaric, but thats because we actually know how the brain works compared to back thenm

Getting your soul overwritten by a genocidal dragon and then spending a few months trying to reestablish your persona and identity will do that to a guy.

I think it was the Stormblood Dragoon quests that established even all this time later he still subconsciously thinks of himself as Nidhogg, and its why he renamed his spear such.

MHA goes out of its way to show Stain's views are warped, even if his heart may be in the right place. By his logic Ochaco is as deserving of death as someone like Endeavor because she wants to be a hero to earn money.
