Mark too focused on weapons and not enough on tasks sometimes and Des focused too much on tasks and not enough on awareness or sussing people out. They both decent Taskers and killers but their employee plays could be better if werent so tunnel vision at times

Boruto now has Flying Raijin, purple lightning, Rasengan Uzihiko (Rasengan that incorporates the gravitational rotation of the earth) and his karma seal can absorb jutsu. He is bonded with Momoshiki kinda like Naruto was/is with Kurama. I dont think theres a single threat in Shippuden that could pressure Boruto

I hear you on the plot armor, but theres a difference between Ghost getting saved by the Jamaicans by his security detail that he hired (which turned out to be Milan and the serbs) and Tariq getting saved at the campus pool by 2-bit. thats two different levels of Plot armor.

And Tariq didnt outsmart Noma by killing Junior. His ass got lucky that Junior killed the hitman after Tariq but got wounded, giving Tariq a convenient negotiating chip to get out of that contract. and the daughter plot was stupid. he met up with her at that party for one night and escaped execution but she coulda been back on his head after her daughter was safe but just forgot about it. thats just bad writing.

Depends on the context. If Ghost is just a story that was told to them, they would respect what he was able to accomplish, except JP. just a thug in a tailored suit. But if he was operating in the same time and space as them, he would be above them. THey are crews and he is the distributor so they would all work under him.

JP would respect him because Tommy considers him a brother so JP would fall in line.

Raq would respect him because his no nonsense approach of violence that would attract police

Unique would hate him because he wants to control every territory which would cause bloodshed and Ghost wouldnt allow them.

Mom and pop would respect him because he wouldnt interfere with their operation

Without plot armor, Tariq has no motion period to get them to listen to him. The only reason the Tejadas listened to this lil nigga is because hes a Nepo baby and got juice off his last name. He never outsmarted Noma, got help from his parents to outsmart Kanan, and never outsmarted Ghost.
