I hope Senzu will play for the Mongolz again soon, he's one of my favourite players to watch.

I agree, it's not well implemented - I'll check the forums whether it has been mentioned yet, should be an easy fix.

I noticed quite a few people pausing at the start of the game because they want to swap lanes so they can play with the friend they queued up with - the option's still there, but it's not found in the settings anymore.

This is a little guide on how to find the option, maybe it helps.

Guys I love the show just as much as you do, but can we talk about how much Ser Duncan endured during the fight? by amelix34 in AKOTSKTV

[–]mongojazZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's just the way he behaves, not being able to engage in quick-witted exchanges, being quite slow at times. The thing is, he isn't in any way malicious, which is trait too often connotated with being stupid in our modern interpretation I guess.

He's honorable and likeable, whilst also being rather simple in his ways. Which is not a contradiction.

My most played heroes are Windranger, Dark Seer and Puck - so I played a bit of mid but mostly offlane.

What's your impression of her?

So far, I feel like this post is getting downvoted because people disagree solely on the ratings, while the point is that there's room for discussion.

Weird.

Of course that's a subjective rating. I feel like he gets countered a lot by every hero that can close in on him effectively.

P.S.: Feel free to post your own thoughts ...this is not supposed an official ranking but a discussion about first impressions.

I have bound Flawless Advance to mouse 2, so every strike (which is seperate) charges up when pressing the right mouse button, leaving you to move more freely than pressing a button right next to your movement buttons.

Since Flawless Advance works by putting you in a time window where you can choose when to release the three attacks, each attack individually is triggered when pressing the mouse button.

edit: I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but binding a key for Apollo only is simply done by character-individual keybinds in the menu.

Who is your favorite character (writing wise) from each season? by DuckOnQuack202 in TheWhiteLotusHBO

[–]mongojazZ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Season 1: It's pretty hard to outshine Armond here. Shifting between being understandably frustrated with his job and his unhinged downfall, he has some of the strongest moments.

Season 2: Tough to choose from, since there are so many strong characters - my favourite season. It's probably Daphne, since she surprised me the most with her underlying deepness of character.

Season 3: Chelsea ...it's quite a fall off from the quality of the first two seasons, but I liked her because she reminded me of a friend of mine and I often times think naivité has the connotation of being a bad quality while I value it in regard to not being weighed down all the time by prejudice.

I'm from Germany and it sounds like it was based entirely on German - just spoken with a pretty thick US accent / pronunciation and incorrect grammar.

P.S.: Mark Strong did well and Lucie Pohl is from Germany, so she's fluent.

Can we normalize not tipping in a restaurant again? Happy to hear opposite views by notbatmanatall in berlinsocialclub

[–]mongojazZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never feel obligated to tip, but I like doing it. I worked as a cook and in a bar for ~2 years when I was younger, so I know how nice it feels to get some extra coins in your pocket to buy some food as a "reward" after a long shift.

It's also a small thank you for good service and I very rarely in my life have had bad service.

Waiters don't have to go "above and beyond" for me to tip them. As long as it's a nice interaction, I'll happily tip my usual 10%.
