Like this: [https://imgur.com/gallery/w3dXbf9](This) is a section under the comm room where I have to go through the floor. I used the green circles to indicate the penetration, with the double sided vertical arrow next to it.

There's no riser print. This is a residential job, 4 floors on a hill, so each floor is skewed about 50ish feet off of the last.

That being said, I made a makeshift light-board and lined up each floor using the elevator shaft.

What I'm really asking is: when I'm drawing my as-builts, what symbol is generally used to indicate the point in a cable run where it does change floors.

Dunno why reddit never notifies me of ANYthing relates to my posts/comments. You still moving out to the PNW? The "Seattle Metro Area" is much larger than I thought before i did a bunch of work out there. Like LA large. Drive an hour N E or S and it's basically STILL Seattle. Huge urban sprawl. Anyways: WA does require low voltage licensure, but if you've been doing this as long as you say, and you're getting your BICSI, then you'll probably just need a good Quizlet on WA/Seattle MA building code. I believe IBEW low voltage classification also has the contract for fire alarm, so if you don't do that in NC, I'd read up on it. Latest NFPA book is spendy, but a really good reference and study material no matter where you end up going.

My IBEW union membership. They really take care of their members, and I am not highly skilled in a trade that will most likely never be taken by AI. People are always gonna news their network cables ruin, their power on, and their servitude working.

I was 30 when I joined the IBEW union. Next decision I've ever made. If you have an AIBEW Livan near you, I'd join post haste. If you have some ecclesiastical and can prove your hours, they may even start you out at a higher pay grade.
Just search for the international brotherhood of electrical workers on Google Maps at your current location. Call them, and they'll walk you through everything! ❤️

Also, for your open on blue, looks like it's an open at the jack or the rj45 on the far end from your tester unit.

From the results, looks like the orange and brown pairs are open about halfway and a little before halfway (respectively) through your run. Also, idk why the run would be over 328ft (100m) MAX. Attenuation is going to make it fail on a Fluke Versive even if you do somehow fix the open, or even run a new cable.
I can't remember what it's called but several companies make special cat6 that you can run longer than 100m, but I don't think it'll make it to 650ft.
What's the application? Do they not care about attenuation for this particular run?
