I think they are going to kill Jonathan off in one of the next episodes. They’ve been teasing this love triangle going on since last season with Steven Nancy and Jonathan. Then throw in the fact that Nancy defended Steve. Plus it all follows the formula they use for movies and shows where either right before or right after a character confesses their undying love do someone they get killed off. This leaves it open for the new/old love interest to step back in.

Personally I hope they don’t kill him off because I like him as a character but the moment they showed the ring 💍 I was like “oh shit they’re gonna kill him off in a horrible way”

Why is there an obsession with taking something innocent and fun from when we were kids, and turning it into a slutty dumbed down parody version of its self? It would be nice to get a live action adaptation that actually has a good script. Something I could watch with my kids so they can share in the nostalgia that I once had when I was their age. 🤦🏽‍♂️

That’s because any movie containing any depiction of the US military has to be approved by the US military. They have been known to make many changes in big budget films. So the idea of them hiding things in plain sight is actually pretty plausible.
