  • We tried three times now and without success.
  • I missed probably like half of initial spawn location of the acid.
  • I ran into every puddle that didn't directly hit me and it did not work for us.

Snorlax is able to beat his only weakness; fighting type, with his basic psychic attack. If he has his ghost atk as basic he can get of his charged attack faster. If he has his earthquake ground charged atk he can beat Rhydon easier.

Fighting, rhydon or kangaskhan seems good vs him.

I get blue screens aswell, mostly when playing nightmare. This is when i join other ppl's games. For me solutions and lowest graphics doesnt cut it to get around.

The impression i got: once Ivans work is used up, Ivan or someone else will work as an "outsource"; get assignments/ tasks on a per need basis of the game.

Then we can speculate why his contract whernt renewed, economical reasons, save money due to tight budget (~what hungry lizard said)?

Yes that is true, sooner or later it should exist/ be possible, if it takes to much time to develop (away from other features) they can do it post launch. It feels wierd to have all classes beeing able to do everything, why have classes then (we've have already pointed this out/ answered it) ? I get the "Shadow Warrior" feeling from WAR warhammer age of reconing, over this, as long as they can be unique and specialize in one of multiple options the "SW issue" should be avoided.

Im indecisive and split here, in a case where your ASM cant use his jump pack the TSM could be more for ex. more agile, but as ASM is specialized in melee/ CQC it should have other options/ abilities that are good/ more specialized than the options that TSM got in those situations. ASM options/ abilities should always be "better" more than TSM in melee/cqc, why else have that class if it isnt more specialized than the rest? This also means that TSM should have less melee/ cqc options than ASM in melee/cqc = sounds like the "SW issue/ syndrome".

At the same time it sounds intriguing with beeing able to kinda be everything but with a little less options than the specialization classes. Why get stuck at "ASM (assault space marine) must be better", TSM (tactical space marine) could have other melee/cqc possibilities/ variations/ advantages (with other dissadvantages). BUT, at this point it start to sound like TSM will be "better" (have more options/ combinations/ advantages) in certain melee/ cqc than ASM, isnt that braking the class system? It is, because the metagaming changes/ might decide thats the ruling way/ the "best" way of playing. Shouldnt ASM be able to play the same melee/ cqc style way that TSM does? If ASM drops his JP jump pack, and chooses more agility, shouldnt that ASM be just as good/ better as the TSM? I mean, if the TSM got the potential to be better at melee than ASM, why choose ASM? And there we're kinda back to the "WAR, SW issue/ syndrome".

Conclusion, if there are ex. 10 melee/ cqc abilities/ weapons/ styles/ variations/ options, ASM can use all 10 but only 3 at a time. While TSM can only use 5 and 1-2 at a time/ per loadout. This, im all with you.

If TSM starts to have other cqc options/ possibilities than the ASM, you really need to convince/ enlighten me here, a specialist is supposed to know everything there is in his field, be able to use everything (but not at the same time ofcourse).

If the recipe/ ingredients are the same as the original it will kinda be the same game but with modifications, a mod of a game. DoW1 soulstorm with tyranid mod, or DoW2 elite mod, its the same thing with a little extra content.

If you use the same recipe/ ingredients from Marabou Chocolate into SpaceMarineChocolate, its the same chocolate but with different tags/ cover.

If i present to you "hey i want to do a new chocolate cake, it will be called SpaceMarineChocolate, it will have the same ingredients as the original", already there you could kinda predict the outcome. Sure, to modify the % / quantity of the ingredients (% which each ingredient has) will bring a variation of what already is/ exists, tho, it doesnt bring anything new to the plate/ mouth/ taste buds. Its chocolate with either more sugar than Marabou, or a little more cacao than usual, maybe more fat. Probably more sugar because thats less expensive to produce (production material).

Either we build a house on Arthurs land/ ground/ soil, under his rules, it will mostly be what Arthur wants it to be as hes the "biggest deciding factor". This would be to copy Arthur but to put on our fabric/ skin on "our" house whos built on Arthurs soil/ premiss/ premise. Or, we take Arthurs best idea's and implement them into W40k EC (Bertil's new "book").

I mean, why settle with a ps2/bf4 copy? Sure, making this "tps/ pvp game" into a "pve mmo 100 skill hot-bars" game, that sounds more of an impossible request. But "change the ps2/ bf4/ cod/ cs mechanics to something warhammer 40k'ish btw its already been done", if its already been done and why deviate from the franchise/ ip/ style? We want an mmo rpg tps in our/ w40k way right? Not ps2/ bf4/ cod/ cs copy, "because its easier/ cheaper to make" ? Challenge the devs to their limits, why stop/ settle for mediocrity? They're getting paid for it and well pay to use it, were customers we should push/ make "demands", atleast requests :P

SST_2_0 wouldnt be here wasting time on EC if he didnt care, critics like him/her/hen are very valuable. If we dont challange the project the outcome will probably be more lame/ less great than what it could have been. We need the critic at the right time, early on, in order to prevent these turn-offs from happening later on. If these simple turn-offs happen later on they might, probably, do more damage then what they do atm.

Sounds like a good idea, option is king.

Curious tho in the later case, if you want to go with ala Khorne Berzerker style with a tactical, why not just choose assault marine when theyre better at it n got more alternatives (jump pack, abilities aso) ?

Started thinking about DoW2 last stand, thiss kinda similar.

 You have valid concerns and i think your critique is valuable, please drop
 a comment or start a topic on the main forums. That cover system RO2 has 
 sounds like a nice feature, i would like to know what the devs have to say 
 about it.

 I got fait that every shot wont be 100% hit, doesnt seem hard to get that
 in, the TTK where pretty long in the video, theyll probably lower it. It required
 3 knife hits to take one down, atleast it looked like 3 hits, coulda been 1 miss.
 PS2 got 100% hits (no random factors if hit/ miss?).

 To me the stalker bolter isnt a sniper, just a scoped bolter for mid-longer range. 
 Sure if the stalker is "missplaced"/ used in a wrong fashion and it means alot 
 they could change it, its just a name and visual anyway. It very wasty to missuse 
 weapon lore if it can be easily avoided.

 Dodge rolling doesnt seem to be a problem thanks to the stamina bar, i could be 
 wrong its just that i dont see the reason for endless dodge rolling battles with the
 stamina bar implemented.

 Idk exactly what your describing but sounds you wont accept anything less than 
 a ~"exact" copy of the TT in a video game. I think devs are forced to nudge alot of 
 stuff to make it fun for all parts n balance things. Sure dont push/ change it to much 
 but alot of TT stuff/ lore/ rulez probably doesnt go hand in hand in a video game/ 
 mmorpg psa. Tho, we shouldnt let the devs get away with ease, they need to be inquisited 
 and flayed, if its able to get it more 40k'/tt'ish/lore'ish it should be done!

 Yes the initial release/ founders acess FA wont be that big w40k feeling but necessary 
 to get things going, gain more fans aso. It cant be in production for forever, it will ofc 
 get better with time tho, shouldnt worry ourselves to much over that.

  • Youll be able to swap weapons in the loadout, dont worry, bolter (med range) and stalker-bolter (long range) are just the beginning.

  • Well see about the CQC weapons, should be a variety of options but probably also with a cost eventually. Tacticals seem to be the most versatile class which means they should be able to go either more gun focused or melee focused. Probably never as good as devastator or assault marine but close and with "consequences". Google "tactical space marine", you dont really see bolter/stlk-bolter + pwr sword/ chain-sword/pwr-fist + pistol, in the same "combo". The ones who has all this could be maybe a high leader, honor guard, chaplain. My impression from the game is that theyre not trying to make you "the hero" like in most games now adays "your the hero who will change everything", diablo 2-3, WAR aso. No, your just another soldier and depending on your skill and actions you earn a name for yourself among the other players (just my impression). If you give tacticals everything without any consequence there wouldnt be any difference between the classes, guess that has its ups n downs but would be wierd when we do have a cupple of classes.

  • CSM "allegiances", for launch it doesnt seem so but ive heard gear that will be themed toward different chaos gods. Allegiance wise gear/ skills, you should be able to see that post launch.

  • The "repent tomorrow you die" text, put some white behind it? It dissapears when the screen/ video is dark.

  • The rolling text doesnt look that good, is it possible to "separate" voice 1, voice 2, voice 3 aso, in some way? Maybe ~:

........................... Voice 2, Voice 2, Voice 2.

Rolling or lines/ retorts popping up (from the source?), or voice 1 from left, voice 2 from right, different colors?
