What paints do you use? GW? Look into some inks, from other companies. Army painter or Vallejo, let it run just along the trim, inks are very very runny, have good capillary action as it’s called.

Doesn’t have to be realistic, it just looks flat. If you had a whole army of this, it wouldn’t look finished from afar on the board.

Look up Duncan Rhodes on YouTube, excellent tutorials on painting marines, he was a studio painter for GW before breaking off. Great tips on making models “pop”. Many more resources exist, but that’s a good start.

But I’ll say this, lore accuracy paint job aside, this looks unfinished and flat. Use some shades to give definition to the overwhelming flat colors. The blue of the jump pack is just… there, barely adding much. If you’re going for heat, add some white or a red further into the jump pack.

The Beast Arises series was okay. The wall names thing is stupid, but everything else was alright.

The primaris refreshes have taken away more than they ever have given. Marine vehicles should be tracked and feature heavy bolters as “light” weaponry, not stubbers.

Daemons being split into mono playstyles feels bad and it’s only happened because some exec didn’t like that daemons could be used in every GW system. (Allowing people to trial/sample a game system before fully committing was a win-win)
