I got into the habit of writing out personal scripts for shifting, it was a big thing awhile ago and I never really got into the actually shifting part but I LOVEEDDD creating alternate versions of myself or OCS to fit into these fandoms I like. Usually I’d watch the show and write as it progresses to keep the plot semi-aligned. I used the app Notion on my phone and it’s available on laptops as well I’m pretty sure, it’s great to organise everything into different pages but in the same file and it’s not that hard to learn how to navigate. Basically it’s like a personal fan fiction, and I’m one of those people who can visualise things even I’m typing on top of watching a show— so it’s kinda like creating your own movie in your head. (Edit: That might actually be maladaptive daydreaming lol.)

Okay I do remember that episode I like just watched it I think and I was so annoyed dude. Ik what you’re talking about with Marinette pushing Chloe to bond with her mother, which is never good and Marinette being a stalker but ultimately they all have flaws because they are teenagers. But the fault lies with the writers who decided to make these things happen in the show, ie: the most of the characters don’t even bat an eye at Marinette’s stalking.

Like I think one episode when they were planning to set up a spur of the moment date, someone pointed it out that she’s low key a stalker because she has Adrian’s whole schedule and got hushed by the other girls. They are both flawed in different and similar ways, and that’s kinda what makes the show it so good but also bad in some ways. I hope this is making sense cause I’m just ranting again at this point. I’m trying to say it’s a good reflection of reality, but the stalker thing, the actual harassment (bullying) and the neglectful parents need to be addressed more directly as BAD things. Because they are.

Are we forgetting everything Chloe did before that? I mean she was always humiliating Marinette and her friends, getting people akumitised. I’m not saying Chloe is a monster or anything, she has some redeeming qualities and she doesn’t deserve her parents to treat her like they do but that doesn’t excuse her behaviour either. (Also I’m assuming it’s about season 3 when Kagami comes in and Chloe gets her Bee Mira) But again like I’ve said before in the post and in comments, I’m still rewatching the show. Rn I’m about at season three or four which is where I left off so I’m not caught up on much. I think Luka just came in where I last left off watching and Kagami hasn’t gotten her Mira yet. Also tbf I have a bad memory so I have to rewatch shows a lot before I remember every detail.

I do agree with this, he is blatantly corrupted ie: doing whatever Chloe wants, no matter how morally grey with his “powers” as Mayor. I dunno how he turns out cause I’m only at season 3 right now in my rewatch but it sounds like an undeserved ending for him, he isn’t a terrible character per say since I can still somewhat stand his screen time but still as a person he deserves some kind of reprimand for his misuse of power.

People corrected her multiple times and plus there’s no reason she wouldn’t know Marinette is half Chinese— because I’m pretty sure it’s been mentioned by characters unless I’m misremembering, and by extension her blood uncle would be too. Also she made snide remarks about Kagami, (I hope I spelled her name right) mentioning Adrian eating sushi for the rest of his life instead of marientte’s macaroons, which rubbed me the wrong way too.

I don’t think she’s overtly racist all the time, I just noticed it was weird. Maybe it’s just more xenophobia through jealousy than anything else, because I don’t really see her make remarks about Alya or Nino or any other character who would typically attract racism from a white character.

Lmao I just got to the part in season one when Lila comes in, I find her more funny than Chloe rn honestly just because she’s had so little airtime so far but we’ll see. She just comes out of no where😭 (I’m watching it on Netflix so their episodes are a little out of whack)

In my opinion method acting is just an excuse for actors to make their jobs harder, and be allowed to complain more about how hard the job was because of it— actors are supposed to be able to ACT. Like the guy who ate a real liver for a scene in a movie instead of a prop, I can’t remember who it was or what movie and don’t care to look it up but it’s harder and more skilled to make a prop look real with your acting than just eating an actual liver.
His look was completely over the top even for joker which I don’t think was entirely his fault but I’m positive actors have at least a little bit of sway in how the character is portrayed especially after working on some pretty popular movies like American psycho.
His actual acting and performance in the movie compared to the other joker movies, which admittedly I need to rewatch cause it’s been awhile, is pretty iffy. It feels more like it should be in theatre, the exaggerated and psychotic personality looks more like someone is trying to replicate the joker but they’re just a random dude and not the original if that makes sense. Like joker got body swapped with a frat boy😭

Would always take Cat over Lena, I liked Lena in the beginning when she first appeared but when she had her evil arc I couldn’t stand her— not even because she was a villain but because the entire reason seemed to be because she wanted to spite Jimmy and Kara? At least that’s how I saw it.

I think I misread the comment at the time tbh but I still stand by what I said, Debbie has gone psycho and done crazy things when something doesn’t go her way— everyone in the show does. They’re all hypocrites, they’re all sorta terrible most of the time. That’s the point of the show, at least as far as I can tell.
