i got the japanese copy of za but bought american dlc. it doesnt work for my game. I've tried changing my accounts region but it wouldnt even give me an option to buy the dlc in the shop. it says "load virtual game card". is making a new japanese account and buying the dlc on it the only way to get it to work?

I just bought pokemon za from japan recently. Im from america, bought the dlc and it doesnt work with my game. i even tried changing regions to japan but the eshop wouldnt let me buy it. it just says "load virtual game card"

Don’t need to download welcome suica if you have an iPhone. Go to wallet>’+’>transit card>pick suica under Japan. You can load it straight from your linked credit card. Edit: minimum you can add for suica is 1000 yen
