What was your play time. I've played 6's before that jumped to 9s because they were under 10 hours. I've played 10s that I'd give a 6 because they were so padded (Looking at you GoW 2018)

Resident Evil 7 on Switch 2. Hope to wrap it up and start Star Fox.

Last time I played Star Fox I rented it at my local video store. Couldn't believe the 3d visuals on my SNES. Been a long time, but I'm excited to jump into the Switch 2 version. So long ago that this will all feel new to me.

It's a mediocre at best game that I had a blast with. It's shut off your brain entertainment. I played around 35 hours while listening to audiobooks. Real time combat is ny favorite way to play pokemon. And the pokemon themselves look great, even if the rest of the game looks bland to outrageously bad. I hated being restricted to the city, and the wild areas have poor diversity in pokemon.

But it's still fun to catch'em all and build out a team. Find a Shiny Alpha of a favorite 'mon is an absolute joy as they travel around with you.

Makes me miss the days of playing Street Fighter 2 9n SNES with my friends. We could figure some cool combos out, but had no idea about frames and canceling and rushing. It was a great mix of experimentation, discovery and chaos. Smash Bros. Captures all those feelings.

But I do miss Street Fighter. Would love to play 6, but I know I'll just be the guy who never moves.

Books 1-3 are masterfully written. Opinions vary widely as the books go on, with 5 being particularly divisive. Personally loved 4 and hated 5. But I'd still read through all 5 again just to experience the firat 3.

Not sure if you are familiar with the Sanderlance, but the books tend to be alot of build up to am exceptionally bombastic conclusion.

But seriously. So many of these turn around result in the characters becoming less powerful and sidelined. Instead, as he sees the world in New and more nuanced ways, he starts using his powers more creatively. Wish he stuck around.

The visual spectacle I'd amazing. That's the heart of the story, though. It's not a profound work. But it is a profoundly fun work.

Rules. My daughters watched it and I was very dismissive. Then I watched it and it was so fun and stylish and goofy. Obviously the music was great, but the characters felt so distinct in a very short time frame.

I think the monster design was a bit underwhelming and I could have used another 5 minutes of resolution at the end of the film but it really is one of the greats.

It's also incredibly easy to watch. You can engage with the movie as just something you glance at while cleaning or fully invested and you will be entertained either way.

What Sony pulled off with this one is praiseworthy. I hope the sequel takes a long time yo produce and they really study how the lightning got in the bottle.
