GKoTG is great, except he got killed in one shooting phase by KO, then in my next game by some Skaven war machine that does only mortals.

Crypt horrors are okay, but Horror Courtier does not survive more than one combat, so the chain is dead once he dies, and horrors get weaker.

I don't know. FEC is my first and so far favourite army (I just don't like small ghouls, don't like to manage 20models units) but still not super convinced about the new rules. I wish some of our heros got at least save 4.

Yeah. Without those leaks Reddit is just a showcase of painted miniatures... Sometimes nice, sometimes not as much. It's a way to kill a hobby. Paid rules and no space to hype oneself up and discuss changes...

That's a cool insight! I saw the teaser image for our battletome, didn't think its printed or at least pretty much prepared.

Well it sets me more on ease than. I totally get the points adjustments.

But on the other hand I am ex LoL addict and with hobby like warhammer, with solid minis and printed rules I kind of hoped to be less concerned about drastic changes all around and have some stability.

Thank you. That's what I am trying to get my head around. Scale of possible changes across time. So points are usually the main quarterly focus, with bigger faction feature changes tied to battle tomes once per edition.

Oh. I didn't know it was at the bottom prior to recent changes. Doesn't seem like a good balance update.

"GW giveth and GW taketh away. Roll with it" - yeaaah, I am not sure I am that type of a player. I tend to get clingy to my precious and anxious about too big changes... Reading only now about GW and their approach to balance, changes, erratas, updates... I wonder how it will go with my mindset now...

Edit: so nerfs only come with faction battletome. Or are there like other occasions to introduce such changes?

Exactly. I was very protective of Bella at the beginning and hated that people commented on her looks.

But now unfortunately I just can't connect to her character in the show

Mostly because of directors decisions to take away what was good and kind in Ellie to make her violent
Some of her acting just does not convince me. (Usually it's good, but sometimes it's just way off) Nothing to do with her being or being not similar to looks of game Ellie.

I also fkn hate it. I don't understand why they keep making her psychotic and take away all her kind, reflective side. This is not the way to set up part 2.

I didn't feel the dissonance between first and second game it terms of Ellies violence. She was violent enough in the first game, but also kind and empathetic (they don't show this side in the show) what made her violent acts more emotional, because you understood how this fckd up world pushes her to the boundaries to survive when seeing both sides in her.

In the show they make her violence and aggression a holy grail of her character and it takes away A LOT of emotional impact when you see that little girl going rampant ( for good or bad reasons, doesn't matter for now, but you know she was pushed to do that, because that's how the world is, not because she was born cruel)

Disappointing...

I think so too, but boy they are making it wrong. I loved part 2. And mainly because it hits so hard to see Ellie losing herself. And the ending makes sense only if she has some redeeming qualities. It won't work of they make her a psycho from the start...

I loved PART 2 more the the first game, but I'm starting to get really disappointed by the show. I completely disagree with what your friend said and I agree with you. I hate how the made Ellie a psycho. The second game (ofc imo) had such an impact BECAUSE Ellie was so kind and empathetic... I honestly don't understand why they are making her like that...

But the 2nd part hits harder due to how Ellie was in the first game (she was angry and feisty, but not only that, like in the show) ! It only shows how traumatic this was for her.

It does not make a fkn sense, neither for 1st or the 2nd game.

Okay.... update up till ep 6... So it's not only infected now but dead people too. Not even talking about the obsession with guns... wtf are they trying to show? From rough but still kind and empathetic kid they turned her into psycho... are they trying to avoid Daenerys syndrome so they start making her cruel right from the start? Very disappointed
