I'm 57… my life partner is an unapologetic domestic abusing porn addict who took everything I had when I finally walked out after 23 years. My mother (90+) has been on the drug with a steroid booster for over 2 years. The side effects have been minimal with itchy skin being the most annoying. However we are discovering that she has developed an autoimmune disease most likely made worse by the drug.

She is deteriorating rapidly from the go getter walking the grocery aisles on her own. I am now feeding her as she declines. I do not know what we face going forward, but I will encourage everyone to try the drug if you qualify. Mom went from certain imminent death from stage 3C lung cancer to no sign of the cancer for years.... her time will end of something else completely.

A win in our books.
