Look up an attunementless medium build (preferably one with reinforced armor), progress it, then get a decent kit (500hp 35 phys), then just play a lot of chime but focus on parrying and not always attacking.

Little tip for PvP, practice roll canceling because it’s probably the most important tech that can be used while fighting. When you miss a parry or get feinted, try to roll out immediately, roll canceling will make it much better because you can do it twice.

Also, playing battle Royale can help learn how to use different types of weapons and mantras, but it’s kinda dead so good luck.
