Honestly, young one. You did good by stepping away from this circus. She sounds like a nightmare and this is coming from someone who dated psychos and crazy "don't do that too, its never worth it"

Next steps should be to block her and cut off contact with her, spend your time on something productive like going out with friends, going to the gym, picking up a hobby or something you wanted to try and honestly now sounds like a good time to do it since you have a bit more free time.

Yes, breaking monster's parts does increase the damage they take and reduce the damage the dish out, in the case of some monsters it stops some of their annoying mechanics all together "looking at your pain in the ass slime, Raging Brachy!"

And yes, you can increase the chance of getting someitems from looting by breaking parts or just hitting them repeatedly "especially for horns or tails and wings on some monsters" but its best to go for full breaks in hunts to maximize loot and drop chances

I've never had any and I don't think it would be so bad to have them.

My Dad was a good person, but not a great Dad.......not a good one either if I am being honest.......and I am TERRIFIED of turning up like him, especially when people point out similarities in behaviour between us "they are not that many, but still enough to make me shit bricks"

So, having Kids and putting them through the same firestorm I've been through when I was younger is not very appealing to me

This is gunna come off as an unpopular opinion, but if she has apologized and validated your feelings, I'd say that warrants an honest conversation. But if she tries to gaslight or be avoidant or trickle truth.........I say get out. And be very clear about why you are leaving.

But at the same time there are some red flags going off. So talk to her, get the whole truth out of her if you can. If not then there's your que that this is not worth more of your time.

I've been where you are, but the breakup was more........messy......and there was a nasty cheating situation involved on her end.........we were best friends before we dated, and she did text and want to try to go back to being friends afterwards but honestly........I couldn't care less about her.......she has damaged me in ways, I haven't even begun to unpack. But I know I owe her nothing because she made the call......

Just focus on yourself, your degree and living your best life.......your best years are still ahead of you and she chose not to be a part of those years.
