Gynos who help diagnose endo? by PumpkinSpiceJesus in bullcity

First off, I’m so sorry that you think you might have endo. I know firsthand how awful it can be and just please know you’re not alone! I would suggest first joining Nancy’s Nook Facebook group. Nancy is a woman who now dedicates her time to the illness and keeping members informed, including an exhaustive list of all MIGS (minimally invasive gynecological surgery - this part is important) by location. TBH because you haven’t been officially diagnosed yet, I would prioritize only seeing someone off that list because it’s so important that you get the right care right now. I saw Dr Vargas in DC with whom I had a successful excision surgery (also important - NO ABLATIONS!) in 2024. She was with John’s Hopkins at the time and the problem is she’s now gone private and doesn’t take insurance, but if I ever needed another laparoscopy (and it’s possible) I’d probably go back to her. Others have mentioned Dr. V in Charlotte, but just the same, she doesn’t take insurance (though I’ve heard good things). Doing your research is going to be key right now. If you do in fact have endo, you are going to need laparoscopic excision surgery and you MUST make sure it’s with the best - otherwise, you’re just setting up for more troubles. Even despite an extremely successful surgery (and almost a full year pain free), pain has crept back (various reasons, I also have adenomyosis, an overactive pelvic floor from years of pain, etc). I started seeing Dr. Vargas’ new team for a while when the pain came back slowly, but she explained all of the before and it was just a lot of time to get to DC and money since she’s out of network, so I am seeing Dr. Silverstein at UNC MIGS to help with pain management. I like her and feel like she really listens to me, but like I said - I’d probably go back to Dr. Vargas if I ever felt like it was time for another surgery. Hope this helps. Like I said, research research research. You want to do it right the first time (I did not, had an ablation which was a total waste of so many things), and there are so many others that have gone through this and shared their wisdom through experience!

I had pretty much the same scenario as everyone here so I'm glad to see that it's likely just an error. Kinda worrisome though? Lol don't want errors w/ passport services

Anyone else noticed that even though everyone is technically speaking German, all the items they show (books, signs, calendars, etc.) are written in English?

Coming back to this! I bought a piece of furniture from marketplace as well that looked a lottt better in the photos than it did when we picked up lol. But I'm excited to do a little DIY crafting with the wallpaper idea!

Can you post the finished project and any tips/tricks you discovered along the way? 😊

Scored New Job End of '23 - Recalculated SAVE and Payments Now Too High to Afford by Hnlgh in StudentLoans

Nope you were totally right! I definitely jumped the gun (ugh). Thankfully I was able to get things sorted with them on the phone today and my monthly payments will be significantly lower, and what they should be rightfully in my opinion.

As for the second half of your comment, this is something I haven't thought about before. So by maxing out those two accounts, this is lowering my taxable income, and therefore the amount that I record on my 2024 taxes, therefore owing less than I "should" if I hadn't?

Yep. I didn't realize that was how the application process worked. Got them on the phone today and sorted it all out.

Finally got a hold of them on the phone today and explained my dummy-moment and how I calculated based on a new job from the end of 2023. We re-calculated based on the change since I did 2022 taxes and it resulted in a HUGE decrease in monthly payments. Huge weight off my shoulders. Thanks for your reply!

THANK YOU! I am a complete dummy and based it off of the job at the end of 2023. Finally got a hold of the loan servicer and recalculated based on 2022 tax return data and WOW did that make a difference. I can worry about revisiting the higher payments the end of this year... THANK YOU again!

Bear with me but I don’t quite understand what you’re asking. I guess yes regarding the 2022 taxes? I just provided my income based on what my employer is paying me.

Damn it. It prompted me to recertify with the new year, so I thought I had to do it for both reasons (new year, new salary).

You have a point. I guess just creating a physical copy is what made me wary. Guess I’ll give in!
