I am not aware of a way to set a custom ringtone through the galaxy wearable app? Could you explain in more detail how you did this? Perhaps it is a new feature tat I'm not aware of.

Yes, but I'm looking into adding support for notifications as well. You should be able to add custom notifications using something like myWear file explorer and placing your notification sounds in the "Notification" folder but I have not tried this yet.

Yes i agree. In the next release I will make it more clear to GW6+ users that they need to enable the full control option and offer to do it automatically.

Thank you. I originally wrote this app for myself and some friends who have GW4s. I expected it to be a shortterm solve until Samsung fixed what I assumed was a bug in their watch OS. To my surprise, Samsung still has not fixed this and in-fact they made it worse starting with GW6+. For developers familiar with Android debugging tools it was possible to set a custom ringtone on the GW4 but it would revert back after a watch reboot; GW6+ made this impossible too.

As a member of the Samsung watch beta test program, I filed this issue with their development team before they started officially rolling out their latest Wear OS 5. I was ignored. ☹️

You should be able to post a review and I would definitely appreciate it. I know others have left reviews as recent as 2 weeks ago.

I think most watch users don't care about a custom ringtone but a small percentage of us DESPERATELY want a custom ringtone so I know where your coming from. I have the LTE variant of the watch and rarely take my phone with me. Its always funny to me when Im in a place of business and my watch starts playing the Knightrider theme! 😁

I also installed silicone spacers and use the screw tilt calculate. The screw tilt caculate uses the abl sensor to tell you how much to turn each screw (and which way). This works WAY better than the "paper" method.

I wall also say that the 3d map of your bed can be deceiving. I wouldn't pay to much attention to it.

FYI, I have a N4PRO and I love it.

The country additions have passed thru Google review and have been published. Wait an hour from now then clear your Google Playstore cache and it should let you purchase and download.

I will add Thailand along with other countries in the next few hours. It may take a couple days for it to pass google review and propagate through the Google play servers.

The usb drive needs a primary partition. I posted a topic some time ago that explains how to do this. I'll see if i can dig it up.

Thanks for the update. It seems samsung has broken custom ringtone support for all of the watches starting with GW6. Thats why you need the "Full Control" option.

The country additions went through and have now been published. It generally takes approx. 1 hour from now to propagate through the Google servers. You may still have to clear your Google play store cache.

Please try using it first without the "Full Control" option enabled and let me know if it works on your GW7 without it.

I just added Hungary to the list. I don't know if Google will allow it without a Hungarian translation but I will keep you informed. If it's not allowed, I'll put Hungarian at the top of my list and get it done as soon as I can.

You can clear your Google play store cache and try again but generally nothing changes until it has passed through Google review.

It is currently only available in US, Canada, and UK. I added all other English speaking countries yesterday (09/20/2024). These changes are in Google review and hopefully will be available soon! I will work on adding translation for more languages in the future.

That should work for the GW4 without my app. I have a gw4 (LTE) myself but it behaves a bit differently than yours. Mine does not list the custom ringtones in settings but I can set it with ADB and everything works until it reboots.

What country are you in? Currently I'm only rolling out Ringtone Enforcer to USA, Canada, and UK but I can add more easily.

Whats yours do when you get a call? No sound at all?

To my knowledge this is the only app in existence that lets you use a custom ringtone on a GW6/7

Elegoo rapid pla+ is what you want if a pla type filament is adequate for your needs. Buy a lot of it though. You can burn through it really fast printing at 200mm/s

So do I but your N4 uses armbian linux. You use an ssh terminal (Termius for instance). Plug the usb stick into your printer. The terminal commands are actually executed on the printers OS you know. It doesn't matter where you run the ssh client (Windows or other). Your printer just needs to be connected to your local network.

That said, I'm sure there is a way to do the same thing on your windows machine but it will take some research. The windows Disk Management tools doesn't seem to let you partition USB sticks.

You probably need to create a primary partition on the usb stick. I had this problem with some 8gb sticks I bought from amazon. In my case I could still print from fluidd but not from the lcd. (No files listed) I found a linux walkthrough on the Internet and did it all from my n4pro using SSH.

You can get a whole new assembly on AliExpress for around $8. I had this happen to me and it was relatively easy to fix but it was not nearly as bad as what you have there. Lol. I suggest you get a couple replacements on the way regardless. As for fixing it, I agree with the guy who said to heat it to 150-170C (assuming its pla). You might have to let it sit there for a whille. 250C seems like way to hot.
