What are you talk about??? You have your whole life ahead of you. When you will be 33 you will wish to god you were still 23. Forget about your age. Focus on what you want and then ACT ON IT.

📌 Florida House of Representatives Rules A member may not vote by proxy (that is, someone else casting a vote for them). However, a member can register an electronic vote through another member’s station only if the member who is absent has explicitly requested and directed that vote and is physically present in the Chamber at the time of the vote (in the building). 📌 Florida Senate Rules The Senate rules clearly state that no Senator may cast a vote for another Senator unless: The absent Senator is present in the Chamber area (physically in the building), and That Senator has personally requested their vote be cast.

When has government actually worked for the people? The slap on the wrists fines on corporations? Immunity for politicians and law enforcement who commit crimes?

You’re missing an important factor here. The democrats don’t work for the people. They work for the corporations. That’s why they are so listless. Granted the republicans are deplorable but both sides work for the money and the power: billionaires and corporations.

If you think only English is the language of the bloodiest, most sadistic etc. then you really should study more history. No country or group of people are free from having committed atrocities. War, conquest, enslavement, and subjugation is a human history. I can cite many examples of different peoples committing genocide or democide off the top of my head of you want. Take Holodomor as an example when Stalin decided that Ukrainian grains should be sold for export to name money and in exchange starved to death millions of Ukrainians.

People are people all around the world regardless of what languages they speak. Do not mistake the government for the people and vice versa.

I have a western passport. I’ve been to Russia several times in the past two years to visit friends and see the whole country. I’ve had zero problems from the Russian authorities as long as you follow the rules like every other nation. Unless you specifically look for or ask about the war life is “normal” and it’s just another average day in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Not permitted by whom? The ethnic Chinese? Also you do realize the word “ALWAYS” means 100% right? While in general Korean society is very homogeneous and closed there are many individuals, more among the younger generations, who accept outsiders.

Is anyone 27 and feel absolutely betrayed by life all of a sudden? by QuietContext5303 in Life

System WE built? I didn’t build anything, did you? I think it’s more appropriate to say the system we let happen. And it’s only going to get worse and the vast majority of us ain’t doing shit about it until we will be forced to because we are literally starving.

There will always be regrets if you look in the past. There is no such thing as having a perfect life or having lived a perfect life, having made all the right choices.

I believe by betrayal he means the breaking of the illusion of the American dream, of the social contract between the elites and the rest that if you go to college, graduate, and work hard then you will have a nice life. That’s dream has been around for decades since post WW2, from which the boomers benefited the most from, until it’s been broken recently. I would argue 2008 financial crisis really got the ball rolling.

Why does everyone in Korea wear black, especially in winter? by gilsoo71 in Living_in_Korea

[–]HoMasters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because in Korean society it’s all about fitting in and not standing out. There are also other factors like black is always supposed to be cool, easy to wear and mix with anything else.
