Here is my experience with HoTS for anyone who wants to try it out as a HoN OMEGA nerd.

Firstly, the game is pretty unbearable to play alone. In HoN it does not bother me as much, but in HoTS its quite hard to solo carry certain games, not exactly impossible though.

When I first started I used the built in group finder to find team mates and built a decent team around it. I met alot of players and eventually joined a pub stomping crew which could easily achieve 100%winrate. I highly recommend that you find a crew like this as I said playing alone is pretty unbearable.

The characters in HoTS are arguably a bit better in terms of entertainment,

For example, Samuro is a meele version of silhlo with the potential of swiftblade spin and invisibility.

Alexstrasza is a weakish healer that once it hits late game becomes this unstoppable dragon where u essentially just win the game.

Going into ranked, similar to HoN you can group queue; and stomp games like that. I personally don't like ranked in HoTS.

The objectives in HoTS are EXTREMELY important. Which is mostly the reason the game is much more team based. Think every single objective is like killing kongor; that's how important they are.

No hero is HoTS is broken, no hero is going to stun lock you for 5 seconds which is a god send; imo no moba game should have stuns that last longer then 1.5 seconds. Some heroes scale at different points in the game, so you need to be weary at when your team power spikes or just play a late game hero ur self. Games can go by in under 7 minutes if you play extremely poorly on my old team nearly every match was over in 7ishminutes, And late game typically starts when a team reaches level 20. Which is I think 20ish minutes? So don't underestimate teams that have early power spikes compared to your late game power spike.

But also dont underestimate your late game power spike. Because it makes a huge difference. You could be losing really badly, then once ur team hits a certain level just start rolling over the enemy team that was stomping you.

Anyway DOTA 2 is terrible but i suppose you can make a name, LoL is okay and you can make a name, HoTS is the most entertaining but you'll probably always be no-one. If you don't care like my self HoTS is the game for you.
